Just a caveat, the size of the bonus T-shirt in the Dodgeball DVD package might be a Large, not the XL that the packaging states on the backside of the package. I got a Large sized T-shirt in mine, and I'm going to take it back to Costco, and frankly, I have my doubts that any of them have a XL T-shirt in them.

I mainly bought this DVD for the T-shirt, and I was going to give the DVD as a gift for Christmas.

Went to Costco tonite.

As we headed to the DVD section, I noticed that they FINALLY fixed the fucking display. Instead of having it four levels up, it's only two. However, they're STILL NOT PUTTING NEW SHIT OUT where people can see it.

Anyways, we went looking for the Disney Treasures. Looking [again] underneath, I found Mickey In B&W v2 [so far, so good -- 1 down, 2 ta go]. After checking the entire side, I figured they'd have it with the rest of the kiddie fare on the other side. Walking over, I saw that they had a stack of Pluto [2 down, 1 ta go]. Hold on a sec, I thought. Pluto was the one that was supposedly short supplied. And, much like Tomorrowland, i'm sure not too many people will be interested in the Mickey Mouse Club. Thoughts started racing through my head - "Am I gonna have to fucking hunt this one down?" "Why the hell didn't I just STL on these?" "Why does this Costco suck so much?" "Who the hell is Twikoff and why the hell do I always include him as a poll option?". Finally, I was able to find a copy of the Mickey Mouse Club.

BUT....the story doesn't end there...

So, while checking out, i'm not paying attention to how things are ringing up. However, after finding tMMC, I thought it was weird that that one was priced $20.49. Again, I figured that it was the least in demand. Who knows?

ANYWAYS...after my girlfriend pays, we head to the exit and as we do, I check the reciept. Lo and behond, all THREE rang up for $21.99. I pointed it out to her and told her to go to the service desk and get my damn $1.50. That's right muthafucka. I want my $1.50. So, she brings the reciept over and, after a bit, comes back and hands me close to $5.00.

Apparently, he saw the other two SKUs on there and refunded ALL THREE. In addition, when we got home, we noticed that they didn't charge us for the Ice Tea that was underneath the carriage. I figure that should be part of the settlement for all the aggravation they've given me over the months...

So, keep an eye out for the lower sticker price, bring an attractive female and YMMV.

I think it's normally $12.99, so after INSTANT $4 discount, it's $8.99 plus tax.

Crap! I'm now 0-for-2 on the Dodgeball t-shirt. I returned the first one, and got another pack from a different box and still got a Large t-shirt in a package marked XL. I give up.

I looked through tons of boxes at Costco and they're all marked XL. I bought one and got XL.

I usually wear Medium or Large (Hek I even wear Small sometimes cuz I like shirts tight to form-fitting) so I was hoping to get a Large but no luck. I gave the shirt to my brother and he loves it. He's a lil overweight so it fits him with no problems.

FYI: The Disney Treasures are marked with two different prices at my Costco in Vegas.

The Mickey Mouse in BW was $20.49 (all of them)
The Mickey Mouse Club was $20.49 (about 10 of them were marked $21.99, but the rest were $20.49)
All of the Pluto were $21.99 except for about 5 of them marked $20.49.

I don't know what the deal is, but thought some would like to know.

On the back it says "Dodgeball" in white font. On the front it has a picture of the Average Joe's Logo and it says in yellow font "AVERAGE JOE'S GYMNASIUM" in a circle around the logo. Below the logo in smaller yellow font it says "a TRUE underdog story"

The shirt is red and it's Fruit of the Loom.

It's actually a very nice shirt.

As a sidenote, I've never ever bought a DVD from Costco before (there's no Costco in Manhattan-NYC). I just came home for the weekend to visit my parents in New Jersey. I mainly wanted to get the Dodgeball DVD and T-shirt. Then I saw Rounders for $8.99 so I had to get that. Then I did an impulse buy and bought The Flintstones Seasons 1 & 2, Scooby-Doo Seasons 1 & 2, and The Jetsons Season 1. I was only gonna get 3 of them cuz you need 3 to qualify for the $15 rebate. I got the fourth one cuz I couldn't decide which one to put back so I'll just send in 2 separate rebates for $10 each (I can always send one to my parents). I skipped out on Top Cat and Johnny Quest cuz I never watched them as a kid.

I really really wish that I went last week so that I could've picked up the Sony Christmas Classics with the Rudolph Collectible toy for $26.99 - $10 = $16.99. That was a smokin' deal. It would've been nice to get teh Breakfast Club/Sixteen Candles 2-pack for $4 off but I can live not getting that.

On Tuesday, I plan on picking up The Film Noir Collection for $19.99 and possibly The Rocky Anthology if it's less than $32.83 which is the price that DDD.com would have it for during their 20% off sale.

Is there any word on the deals Costco will have on the Star Trek: The Original Series season sets? I had heard all 3 would be $80 each plus a $50 off coupon making it $190 + tax. Is that right?

How about the price for those who just want to buy Season 3? (I already bought the previous 2 seasons because I couldn't predict the $50 off coupon because I'm not a clairvoyant).

Though marked at different prices they all scan at $20.49. I saw this at the Henderson NV . Bought Mickey B&W II and Pluto. Both were $20.49 plus tax.

Thanks for the prices. Just thought I would post that I noticed that they had the widescreen version of Office Space at my Costco for $12.99. I know some people have had some trouble finding the widescreen edition. All these crazy holiday deals are killing me. I have to stay in budget!
