The information I needed is not covered in that other thread no matter what he thinks. That other thread says Flintstones is $7 off but does not say off what. This thread has the final price which is what I needed.

Thanks for posting this. Being a Costco member, I don't check the other thread. But when I saw Flintstones S2 in your thread title, I went to costco.com to order it. But didn't when that $21.99 quickly turned into more than $32 after Costco wanted $6.07 for shipping(!), in addition to tax and the non-member surcharge. It'll end up just being cheaper for me to get it at CC for $29.99+tax.

Same problem. I don't suppose there is any way to get free shipping. I could live with the surcharge but not $6 to ship two DVD's.

When I ordered 24 Season 3 from them a week and a half ago (during the $27.99 sale), shipping was free, which is why I was surprised to see any shipping charge - especially $6+. That free shipping on 24 must have been a special promotion, I guess.

I, too, ordered previously and received Free Shipping...it was on 24 Season Three, and also on Alien Quadrilogy....i cannot understand why they're charging these outrageous shipping fees that pretty much KILL the sale.

edit: I just got off the phone with Costco's Customer Service. I asked about the high shipping charges, and after she did some checking she said that the shipping charges were different this time because they were using UPS for these orders and it was faster than USPS. I asked if there was a way to change shipping preference to possibly get Free Shipping as i did with my last two orders and was simply told NO :( She was very friendly, but was firm on the fact that Free Shipping wasn't an option for this particular promotion.

I'll just wait for a better deal....i was wanting to order The Godfather Collection....but the $7.42 shipping charge ruins the savings.

The free shipping people got with 24 s3 was part of a seperate free shipping promotion. Costco.com usually charges shipping. In fact, that was the first time I'd ever seen free shipping on Costco.com, though I don't really track their site that closely, as the online and in store DVD prices aren't always the same.

Got Flintstones season 2 today for the $21.99 although tax was added to the pre-coupon $28.99 price making it $24.16. My coupon wasn't needed as the cash register took it off automatically. What's cool also is in the Looney Tunes Golden collection 2 I got when it came out a month or so ago was a rebate coupon. For buying both I can send away for a $10 rebate.
