Who will buy the new Lindsay Lohen CD this Tues?

Any goofballs out there that are going to buy this CD?

if this is the number one selling CD on the billboard sales chart next week, I am moving to a log cabin in Montana and never coming out.

I like cheesy pop music and I've really liked the few songs Ive heard from her off the soundtracks she's done... so yes... I'm getting it

yes, new rock music has gotten so bad I'd rather buy Lndsay Lohan than Nickleback, Staind, Audioslave, Perfect Circle and all the other boring rock music that's out now.

Well then why not buy any of the new or recent releases from The Libertines, Bjork, Tom Waits, Interpol, Le Tigre, Green Day, The Faint, U2, or Nirvana? btw Perfect Circle should not be on that list.

I had 2 $5 DC for BB so I used them to order it. I really like the Rumors song so I hope the rest of the CD is as good.

Horrible cover. It looks like an early-eighties 45 or something.

That cover's terrible. I still have yet to hear her single all the way through (not a fan of radio or MTV).

A funny little passage from allmusic.com's two star review of the album:

On the cover, the starlet — who officially turned 18 in July of 2004 — looks like a thirtysomething porn star, and she has the heavy-breathing voice and double entendres to match ("I wanna come first" on "First," the lead song, or "I'm not above being under" on "Disconnected"); add to that, she's posed in nothing more than an unbuttoned dress shirt in the liner notes, while there's another picture of her with the word "sex" scrawled over it, twice. When paired with the loud, relentlessly ProTooled dance-pop and hooky but unmelodic songs on Speak, the whole thing is a slick, ugly nadir of 2000s pop culture — the kind of thing that makes Blue Staters think that, gee, maybe the Red Staters were right when they said the U.S. is going to hell.

I am a fan of hers, because she is beautiful, and did a great job in Mean Girls, which was one of the surprises of last year. All my friends think I am nuts, and I know they are right, because I would never actually go out and buy this album if it wasnt for her. I want to hear how she does. She does an amazing job of being beautiful. And I like her personality, you can tell she is really being herself. Curses, calls people retarded, ect ect. I love that.

I am going to buy it, perhaps I will be first in line. hehe True story.

She's good in movies, but her music has been pretty hit or miss. That song she did for the Freaky Friday was pretty generic, but the one that was a hit from the Conessions/Drama Queen soundtrack was decent catchy pop. The song "Rumors" just sounds like a Britney Spears cut that wasn't good enough to make the album.

For the record, I actually like the cheesy 80s look of the cover. But I still prefer "cute girl next door" Lindsay over "porno slut" Lindsay.

I watched it and loved it. It was kinda like Heathers-lite. Now as far as the music CD goes, only if it has the aforementioned password in it.

As for Mean Girls: I'm straight, I own it, and it cracked me up.
Deal with it.

The CD? no interest, thank you.

Look I only went to see Mean Girls because of LL. BUT then as I was watching it, I thought this isnt the pile of Crap I thought it would be, no its actually written quite well and it was hilarious.

For anyone who didnt know, Mean Girls was a SNL movie, it wasnt a full on one where the main star is from SNL, but there were several SNL castmates who was in it.

Dont think it was a chick flick either, every guy I know, me included, who seen it actually ended up liking it.
Give it a chance.... For Lindsays sake. hehe

The cover of her new CD is odd, but could grow on me.

Saw it and liked it (but not enough to buy the DVD).

I like lots of chick flicks (I don't think that Mean Girls really was a chick flick though) and yet I'm still straight.

On topic, I am not buying the Lindsay Lohan CD. I hope never to hear it (and that's fairly likely, since I don't watch MTV or listen to top 40 radio).

This album is highly unremarkable. There's one song where her idea of a long note is embarrassingly bad.

Stick to acting and wearing revealing clothing, Lindsay!

Is it just me or does almost every Disney actress (Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, etc.) have an album?

I'll either wait for the 99cent used bin, or await for hersecond CD, which is more than likely "greatest hit" like Hilary Duff.
