Without a Trace - 12/2

I'm assuming no thread on this means it was a repeat like CSI, but I have to say that this is one helluva good tv show. I've only seen it a few times now, but every one has been very good. Tonight's centered on a teen who disappears from his school bathroom during school hours, and the plot turns out that he was teased a lot and ultimately wasn't kidnapped, but walking the streets contemplating suicide. Very well done on all fronts.

One question: Do they ever NOT find the person in time?

I've seen several ending that way.

And yes, this was a repeat.

That's one thing I really like about this show, even though they find the person in time probably most episodes, they're not afraid to occasionally NOT find them in time. The real world cases certainly don't always have a happy ending and it's nice to have that realism in the show once in awhile.

The boy they were looking for in this episode was played by Jake Thomas, best known for playing Matt McGuire on Lizzie McGuire.

This was a totally different role for him, and he nailed it.

However, I'm mad. I've seen about 60% of this episode now, I saw part when it premiered, and part last night.

This was one of the best episodes of the series IMO. I remember seeing it when it first aired, and I was drained after watching it. It really got me to commit to that episode.
