Fritz Lang's M: The new Criterion DVD

I never jump the gun like this but I just got my copy today for the DVDTalk review and I just have to say: The restoration is so incredibly beautiful it actually makes me want to cry. I can't believe a film of this age can be so sharp and beautiful today. I really wish all the worthwhile films of that era could have survived and been given this treatment.

I'll be including screen comparisons between the 2 Criterion releases.

I also watched a bunch of extras. This is a great set.

Wow... those comparisions shows what an incredible job Criterion did with the restoration. Just amazing!

Kudos for a wonderful review. I knew it would be a great release but your review has really excited me. This is a must-have to own and your review is a must-read.
