NYPD Blue, 11/30/04

Pretty decent episode, I thought.

Great to see Greg tell off the Lt.

Very odd to see the Lt. tell Andy to "lose" one of the 5s. Didn't fit his character at all.

Interesting to see two stories left hanging (in Blue terms, anyway)--who killed Michael's dad & the child molester lawyering up...

The rare moments where Medavoy stands up for himself and shows a spine are always great.

Agreed.

I don't really care who killed Michael's dad - I am just happy that it looks as if they are finished w/ that damned storyline.

I missed the new ADA this week.

And to be even more shallow - Rita and Bonnie better get naked at least once before this season ends.

That was the best scene he has had in I don't know how long. Best scene of the night as well.

He stood up to the drunk in the bar a couple of weeks ago (pre-shiner).

I was thinking he was going to fake his heart problem in the Lt.'s office so he could get disability.

Good episode, thank Valhalla they are done with Michael's father now.

From the preview
Spoiler:
Maybe Greg is the one that told the guy about the set up. Good to see the Lt going after Andy when he is in the clear.

What possible reason other than sloppy writing would cause them not to run a paraffin test on the husband and wife murder suspects? One of them would have been shown to have fired a gun recently. The other likely would not.

Not to mention that since the wife had mentioned the gun being in laundry room, I assumed that would sort of wrap up that case.

I miss the old Blue where taking Ortiz and Murphy out to dinner would have resulted in atleast one of them getting naked

Medavoy standing up for himself was great and thank god the Michael;s dad story is done

Next week looks really good.
