WHo's been watching mickey's christmas carol this week

Watched it out of the treasures can last nite. looked great. I was watching a tv preview of new movies (some critics show, forget the name) sunday morning and at the end they had a holiday dvd buyers guide that ran close to 7 minutes. Talked about the Marx Bros. sets and then out of nowhere they go with 2 OOP disney titles, telling people to go out and buy the toy story ultimate toy box, and mickey's christmas carol. Funny stuff. Parents will be pissed when they are nowhere to be found

On DVD, yes. I think even the VHS might be out of print.

It is. I've still got it along with two other Disney Christmas shorts that were packaged as a special on TV when I was younger. One is Pluto's Christmas Tree and another involves Donald Duck and his nephews in some all out snow warfare. May have to dust it off this Christmas if I can't get my hands on the Treasures tin.

That's where I've seen it. I knew I had that on DVD somewhere.

At 30 minutes, I wouldn't see the point of it.

This is one of my favorites of several Christmas specials I watched every year as a child. I watched it this week and have never seen it look better than it does in my Mickey Mouse In Living Color: Vol. 2 set. Pure magic. I love it.

Look at the link from amazon in my post above. It has a mix of old disney christmas cartoons with the House of Mouse presentation. I don't have the disc with me right now but the details at amazon are pretty accurate.

Watched it a few nights ago. What a classic! Hadn't seen it in a few years.

Unless they release it with the making of, and the variety of christmas shorts Disney has released. There were several releases on VHS and DVD with compilations of Christmas and winter themed shorts.

Dumbo is barely 60 minutes and that warrants an individual release. Of course it is a classic though, so it is a bit different.

I watched it a couple of days ago on the Treasures disc. I have an old vhs tape that I got off tv a long time ago. They had Mickey's Christmas Carol as the headliner, but also showed some winter-themed shorts like the one with Pluto, Chip and Dale and the Tree and the one with Donald and his nephews in the big snowball fight. I used to love that tape when I was little.

I'd love to see something like that released on DVD. I know that plenty of people would buy it. There are individual DVD releases for other Christmas specials that are only 25 minutes long like A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, so it isn't much of a stretch to hope that Disney will do the same with Mickey's Christmas Carol in the near future. I'd certainly buy it.
