Looks like I'm making a quick stop to ebgames only.

The 2 for $25 looks good.

The Chronicles Of Riddick is not listed and should be on sale for $9.99

Indeed, the ebgames sale is all that interests me and it looks like that can be done online by entering the 2FOR25 coupon code although it isn't working yet.

Surely that GAMESTOP ad is wrong. R&C: UYA is 39.99 MSRP. Adding 10 bucks and giving them a 10$ giftcard is lame.

Sears

Also worth Noting Meijers' "Buy 1 get 1 50% Off". Not sure if it's limited titles or not.

Thanks for compiling it into one spot. It's easy to lose your spot in all these ads.

Not sure if this is a deal but I noticed in the Target ad that they have World of Warcraft for $49.99 but it appears to be one of their famous misprints as the picture shown is the Collector's Edition. I'm sure it'd be possible to pricematch to Best Buy or something as the boxes are quite different.

This is just in the normal section so I'm sure you could do it Saturday also if you wanted to avoid the crowds tomorrow.

edit: I just realized the the Collector's Edition is usually $79.99 so if you can get it for $49.99 it is indeed a good deal. Come's with all sorts of cool stuff too, here's a link.

ebgames also has one of those "up to $XXX store credit" trade in deals.

1 PS2 system and 5 PS2 games...$150 store credit(you can get a new Slim PS2) I'm gonna do this Friday but I'm not going to buy the new PS2. I was going to trade in my PS2, several games, and few dvds for $120 on Monday but the guy said I should wait til Friday for the better deal plus a 20% trade in coupon bonus.

1 XBOX system and 5 XBOX games...$150(time to trade in your older unit with the crap cd drive?) I would love to do this but i'm not sure how to save my hard drive info for transfer.

1 GC system and 5 games...$100 (I don't have one)

Picked up Prince of Persia for $9.99. It was the only title that really stood out as a deal. With the stack of unplayed games i have right now i can't justify buying more than 1 or 2 this season.

It's been covered here before. You need a transfer cable, which can be had for under $10 and a compact flash drive. You can store almost all your game saves, but some (like KOTOR and DOA 3) are unsavable. Of course you'd have to redo your music as well. I've been thinking about this a lot because I have a BB extended warranty up in Aug 05 and still don't know if I'll be using it or not.

I'll look for the link for you.

edit: Here it is.

I went in and picked up Mario Golf and PacMan (World/Vs) for the $2 for $25 deal.

The packaging for the MG was the regular one, not the PC version, but it said it was in the ad, so he could do it.

Nothing catches my eye, not that I'd have fought the crowds anyway.

Also a plus given that I've got a lot on my gaming slate that I need to play through as is anyway.

Went to EB this year, just as I did last year. Waited in line for at least half an hour while these two lame couples argued with the employees about which games would be free out of their pre-owned selections("it says buy 2 get 1 free, i want that one to be free" "ma'am, that one is $10, the others are $5, the lowest priced one is free" "but that's not what I want") so the dang people kept switching out cheap crappy game after cheap crappy game, then whining "this is just too much for a used game" and blah blah blah. We were all pleased when they finally left the store, and there was much rejoicing.
I picked up the last copy of Riddick, and nabbed Animal Crossing/Mario Golf for $25. Out of pre-owned junk, I picked up The Sims Hot Date, Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe, and Red Faction for $4, and Sonic Adventure DX/Final Fantasy X/Onimusha 3/Baldur's Gate/Beyond Good & Evil/ICO. My sister just went out intent on getting me Ratchet & Clank II, Jak II, MGS 3 and The Sims 2 for Christmas, possibly more.
I scored a lot of games I have been wanting, but considering I have a huge backlog of unplayed/sealed games on my shelves already, I could have probably waited until next Black Friday....

Dammit! Some of my games weren't on the list.
Oh well. I made out with a store credit for $127 and some change for a system, games, and dvds I hardly ever use.

My journey to the Dark Side is complete. No more SONY games and I'm not going to buy Gamecube....I'm exclusively on XBOX.

Great trade in deal. I checked the ad in the paper and it didn't say anything about being on selected games only.

I took up:
Tiger Woods 01
Madden 01
Scooby Doo
Socom 1
Grand Turismo 3
Playstation 2 (bought on release day)

When I gave them the games they fed me the "These games won't work for this deal - only worth about 50c a piece"

Since I had unhooked everything and went all the way up there I asked where in the ad it said "selected games". I told them I knew that was how they usually did it, but I thought this was a special deal for BF.

The manager was standing there and while the guy at the register was looking at the ad said "He can get the deal" and said something about a conversation he had with the area manager about customer service earlier.

I actually felt kind of bad for getting $ 150.00 for the old PS2 and some junk games, but he gave me the deal without a fuss, I just was wondering where in the ad it had the selected games lingo.

Overall great CS from EB Games for honoring the deal and an even better deal for me. Walked out with $ 156.00 in store credit ( I had a network adapter too). I didn't ask for anything extra for the S-Video cable I gave them instead of the regular composite cable

It's on the back of the paper flyer! You got lucky. Dammit! So they're leaving it up to the store manager and you got the $150?

I knew I shoulda been more persistant. I wonder if I should call....

Probably worth a try. I did notice it said the selected games on some deals, but I didn't see it on that particular page, even in the terms at the bottom of the page, where it says "System must be in working order, blah, blah, blah"

They kept the ad, so I can't look at it again. Guess I lucked out.

I was quite fortunate. Metroid Zero Mission had the sale price tag for Metroid Classic Series at the Target I went to. I picked it up for under $15 and was quite excited.
