Just FYI - saw on another forum that both Reef Club Casino and Casino-on-Net are offering 100% bonuses up to $200 with only a 10x playthrough requirement (on just the bonus, not on the deposit). This is a very good deal.

I did both, playing blackjack and $5 and $10 pai gow poker (great game for clearing bonuses, because more than half of all hands are pushes). From download to finish for both casinos was less than 3 hours. Total profit for me was +$298, and that was in part because I was getting imapatient at the end and made a few bad decisions. All told, though not bad for three hours of play.

If you do either or both, note that you can turn off the voice sounds. Trust me, after 2 minutes, you'll want to. Very annoying, especially at Reef Club. Also note that you can track your play through the comp points system. No need to keep track of your total bets, which is nice.

This is total cake - I'm not linking to the casinos because I don't want anyone think I'm after referrals. You know where to find them.

looks good. i could stand a bit of extra cash. thinking about trying this tonight.

they have quick neteller cash in/cash out?

and, having not played pai gow much, what would a solid strategy for clearing a bonus w/losing the min. amount of $ be?

thanks for the heads up.

What are the table mins? $5?

Moorehead - Pai Gow is pretty simple. Both of these casinos have a "house way" button that you can click - basically, it auto-sorts your cards. I'd suggest just doing that at first and see how it works. There are some times I don't go with the house way, but 98% of the time, it's the right play.

The thing about Pai Gow is that the house edge is bigger than blackjack, but because more than half the hands push (I believe I read that 58% of hands are a push), it's a great option for clearing bonuses. If you want to clear fast, it's the best way. If you want to try to make a profit, blackjack is still your best bet. I played a bit of both for variety.

Neteller cash-in is quick. My Neteller cash-out for Reef Club took 5 days. Just cashed out of Casino-on-Net a couple days ago; it's not through yet. They're on the same system as Pacific Poker, which is known for slow Neteller cash-outs.

El Scorcho - Table minimums are $1.

they have Prima software? cool... thanks for the heads up. i'm going to try an give it a go. we'll see where i'm at in a few hours.

i thought i read that the house edge in pai gow is only like 1.5%?

moorehed
11-24-04, 03:10 PM
i just bought in and only got a 40$ bonus on 200$ deposit?

Hmm ... not sure on the odds. I could be wrong. House edge seems like more than 1.5%, though - they take a flat 5% off your wins, so wouldn't that be a 5% house edge right there? Then the dealer also wins ties, which doesn't come up alot, but it should add to that edge even more.

In any event, I really like Pai Gow for clearing bonus money. If you have to bet $2000 and you can go in figuring at least $1100 of that is going to be push money, it's kind of like a $900 playthrough requirement.

moorehed
11-24-04, 03:27 PM
well it would be 5% for the hands you win...

0% for the pushes and losses...

now i just wish my 100% bonus would show up. I only got 20%... says 100% on the website though. emailed support.

did you have to do anything to get that bonus?

moorehed
11-24-04, 03:32 PM
signed up for casino on net and only got 20% as well, however theirs says right on the deposit form, 100% bonus up to 200$

Sheesh. I had the same thing happen and called the 1-800 number. They assured me it was a "techincal glitch." Apparently a technical glitch they're in no hurry to fix. A 2-minute phone call got it done for me.

moorehed

alright... kindof a pain. im trying their online help but all operators are busy. probably busy crediting peoples bonuses.

got casino on net in a couple mins via online support, bonus was in my account in minutes.

had to call reef (no online help) and took about another 2 mins like mgbfan said. said it should be in there in 30 mins.

so now i'm playing casino on net.

just giving info for anyone else who wants to do this.

Basically you have the option before the start of a hand to play as the banker, where all the other hands on the table play against you and you collect and/or pay the players accordingly.

moorehed
11-24-04, 04:27 PM
uhmm i think i just saw a glitch in the system.

my 22 beat his K Joker ? or do i not understand how jokers work?

and i'm guessing you can't play as banker online?

El Scorcho
11-24-04, 04:28 PM
Jokers only count as Aces, part of a straight, or part of a flush.

So K Joker = AK

2 3 5 6 Joker = 2 3 4 5 6

2 3 5 9 Joker = A 9 5 3 2

moorehed
11-24-04, 04:31 PM
ahhh. strange. figured it was more likely my ignorance than a bug.

i'm whooping pai gows ass thanks to the house play button :)

Ha - the first time I played, I was totally mystified by that as well. Damn it, man, now you have me feeling like playing more pai gow!

El Scorcho
11-24-04, 07:02 PM
I'm already 30% of the way through my bonus play through. Deposited 50, need to play 500 worth (50 bonus points worth in your cashier's tab).

I'm up $7 after 30% of the way. This is easy money with Pai Gow, cuz you're really not going to go anywhere $1 at a time.

moorehed
11-24-04, 07:17 PM
i went to the bar, but now i'm back playing again.

el, why didn't you do the full 200?

El Scorcho
11-24-04, 07:23 PM
gunshy, i think

on the casino-on-net one, i'll do the full 200

moorehed
11-24-04, 07:24 PM
i tried doing the math.

am i correct thinking that the AVERAGE of depositing 200, getting 200 bonus, and playing through the bonus should have 170 left of the bonus when done? (if playing pai gow)

mgbfan
11-24-04, 07:25 PM
Don't forget to cash out your comp points when you're done. If you do the $200, it's an extra $2. Not much, but hey ... $2 is $2. Bonus on top of bonus.

moorehed
11-24-04, 07:26 PM
yeh. i look at this as pretty much free money. i was lucky though and had money sitting in my neteller doing nothing.

its cool you can play pai gow drunk.

moorehed
11-24-04, 07:26 PM
good call mgb :).

mgbfan
11-24-04, 07:28 PM
My math says you should end up losing, on average, $55 by playing pai gow through $2000 worth of hands.

2000 x .9727 (the house edge) = 1945.4. Rounding down, 1945, meaning a loss of 55.

If you're staying with bets of $5 and below, you'd need just a horrible run to lose the entire bonus before hitting the requirement.

El Scorcho
11-24-04, 07:31 PM
mgbfan, thanks for the heads up. Keep us in the loop if you see any more like this along the way :)

moorehed
11-24-04, 07:34 PM
yes would like to know of more! i think there are whole websites devoted to this, but i dont remember seeing many deals this good. nice to know someone else has done it first as well.

also, could you tell me an example of a hand where you wouldn't go with the house?

Spoke too soon.. got a shitty run of cards the last 20 min. Down to $69 after $50 buyin and about 10 more hands to play

moorehed
11-24-04, 08:32 PM
seriously? thats a horrible run of cards

moorehed
11-24-04, 08:33 PM
playing 1$ you went down 69?????

El Scorcho
11-24-04, 08:36 PM
I started playing $2 and $3 hands.

There was one run where I lost 7 hands in a row.

Every time I'd have trips, dealer would have a straight or something. Seriously shitty. But still I profited $20 overall.

Just bought in at casino on net and they only gave me 20% of my $200 instead of 100%. So now I'm on the phone with them.

moorehed
11-24-04, 08:59 PM

Sometimes when you get two small pair, I like to keep the 2 pair in the big hand, where the house would split them.

For example: 2255TJK

The house way, I believe, is to split the 22. Personally, I like to keep the two pair together and take my chances with the KJ split off.

Wow! Nice run. Do your craps bets count toward the bonus? The TOS said something about craps and roulette not counting. You might want to check that.

Bad idea, for several reasons. First, they do watch for this kind of thing. IP addresses, names, account numbers, anything. Secondly, even if you could do it, it's just the sort of thing that ensures these kinds of bonuses will go away forever.

FYI - if you do a second account, they're perfectly within their rights to freeze it and hold the money you deposit.

Oops, didn't see the craps thing. Saw roulette but forgot craps don't count. I figure about 30-40 of my points were on craps. I got no problem going back and re-doing these.

I'm not gonna do two accts, btw. This isn't like amazon.com or some shit. They monitor this stuff way too heavily hehe.

I asked if I was eligible to cash out now and was wondering about the Craps thing. I said the site said it isn't eligible but the guy immediately cut me off and said "trust me, it is.."

My profits would have been better if some perfect double down situations had gone my way.

I was doing the 2-2-3-5-10 betting method, where each win moves you to the next bet and each loss starts you over at $2 bet. Any loss in the streak still ends you with a couple bucks profit.

Anyway, I got up to the $10 bet a couple times. On two of those I had 11 vs. dealer 6. Doubled and got garbage. And both times the dealer ended up with 20. :(

Yeah it has been confirmed that craps does count toward WR. I'm assuming as long as you don't only play the pass line.

If you plan on playing Reef, play it on tues Nov 30. BJ Treasure Hunt will net you an extra $25. Check the players club section for more info.

ok, just found this one:

http://www.casinotropez.com/bonus.html#100free

To receive your 100% free play bonus up to $100, you need to make your first single deposit into your account and you will receive this play bonus instantly!

For example:
Deposit $50 get $50 Free - You play with $100
Deposit $100 get $100 Free - You play with $200

Please note that the only deposit that is eligible for this play bonus is your first deposit at the Casino.

The total maximum play bonus that will be given for your first deposit bonus is $100.

This play bonus may not be combined with any other bonus unless otherwise stated.

In the interest of fair gaming in order to cash out any amount of money you must wager at least eight (8) times your play bonus plus deposit. If you withdraw before having reached the minimum wagering requirements, your bonus and winnings will be void.

For example:
Deposit $50 get $50 Free - minimum wager is $800
Deposit $100 get $100 Free - minimum wager is $1600

Bets placed on Baccarat, Craps, Roulette , Sic Bo and all 4-line Video Poker games will be not be counted toward wagering requirements.

Hmm - so that's basically 16x the bonus. Getting up there, but should be still worth doing. If you figure a house edge at 3%, you'll lose $48 on average, so you can figure to walk away ahead about $50.

El Scorcho
11-26-04, 01:40 PM
Yeah, you also have to be careful of three things:

1) "sticky" bonuses -- you deposit $x, they add $y bonus. Wager n times the bonus + requirement.. and then when you cash out, they subtract $y from your total.

2) Some bonus requirements aren't blackjack-eligible

3) Reef Club Casino and Casino-on-Net only required you bet 10x the BONUS amount. Almost all other casinos require you to bet some sort of mulitple of the (bonus + deposit) amount.

Yeah, for a $50 gain though it's almost not worth it. A bad swing of the cards and you could find yourself losing $60-70 or even more.

actyper
11-26-04, 02:23 PM
I have the feeling Tropez is a "sticky bonus"

Deposit $50 get $50 Free - You play with $100

The word "play" IMO could mean that its a sticky.

moorehed
11-26-04, 02:34 PM
so its a bonus you can play with, but can't cash out?

if you deposited 50, got 50 sticky, then lost 50...

would you have lost your 50 or their 50?

actyper
11-26-04, 03:37 PM
If its a sticky, you lost their $50.

mgbfan
11-26-04, 04:51 PM
Hmm .... so a sticky bonus is basically just a buffer then? Probably still a +EV situation, but ... hardly exciting at that level.

A question comes to mind regarding this kind of bonus - what does the playthrough lock? Your deposit money? If I deposit $50, get the $50 sticky bonus, play for awhile and go in the tank, is the deposit withdrawable or is it locked in?

If the deposit is withdrawable anytime, I'd think the proper way to play this sort of bonus would be bet the full amount of the sticky on a single hand of blackjack or pai gow. If you win, you're in business. If you lose, take your deposit money and get out. That would make it enough of a +EV proposition to be worthwhile.

But the bell curve is still going to be well in your favor. The odds of you losing 60-70 are balanced by the odds of you coming out ahead 70-80 (including bonus).

I don't need a sure thing. I just want a situation where the odds are in my favor, and they would be here by a fairly comfortable margin. Assuming, of course, it's not one of those "sticky" bonuses. If it is, then it's probably just not a good enough deal.

There are much better sticky bonuses out there, usually ones at 200%/$200+. The key to winning against these stickies is to bet big. After winning a few you can go back to betting small. Personally I'll stick to regular 100%, < 20x WR.

11-26-04, 06:10 PM

Keep in mind that Golden Riviera is on the Prima Network. Which means that if you get a bonus at one of the casinos on the network, you can't get bonuses on any other Casino on the prima network.

Do a google search for the Prima Network site to see which casinos are part of the network.

El, unless they have changed policies, or their "casino" policy is different than their poker policy.

I have gotten poker bonuses @ Gaming Club, Royal Vegas, and one or two other prima sites. They never cared if i was a member of others as they are all independantly owned, and even though they are on a "network" they want you playing on THEIR software so they can get the $.

I've now got all of my money from Reef and CoN. Finished a total of plus-$300.

After cashing out, both casinos gave me an extra $10 free. Lost it at Reef. At CoN, got it up to $40 (was going to go until I hit $50), but now it's back down to $25. Haven't decided whether to cash the $25 or make another run at $50.

Glad some other people were able to benefit from this as well. I've found a few other good bonuses since, but nothing quite as good as these two.

Went to cirruscasino.com last night and deposited $100 with $200 bonus. Playthough requirements were 20 x (dep + bonus) = $6000 worth.

Took me about 4 hours. Cashed out with the full $300. Had it as high as $380, as low as $205.

Then I got a referral credit from casino-on-net for $50 with only 2x playthrough requirement. Pushed that up to $300 on the blackjack table within 20 minutes. Cashed that out.

So last night I turned $100 into $600. :)

True story from a friend the other night -- I got him to sign up. We went out drinking and he went home and started playing. Deposited $700 total at casino-on-net and ran it up to $10,800. Then lost it all back down to $2000. Then back up to $9,000. Finally cashed out at $3,500. Drunk the entire time...

Ha! NO NO NO. Not slots. If you want to win big (what's big?) your best bet is to plunk it all down on a single hand of blackjack or pai gow. Win and plunk it down again. Two wins in a row and you're sitting on $40 and you can do some business.

Here's my latest totals. Mgbfan, big thanks for pointing this shit out to me. Through research and reviews, I've been able to find some pretty good deposit bonus/low playthrough sites :)

Cirruscasino -> $100 dep, $200 bonus, $300 out
Casino-on-net -> $200 dep, $300 bonus (2 referrals), $767 out
Reefclub -> $50 dep, $50 bonus, $68 out
Lasseters -> $125 dep, $250 bonus, $600 out
Planetluck -> $100 dep, $100 bonus $280 out

So that's $575 -> $2015 :D

moorehed

scorcho, what are the playthroughs on those other sites? cirruscasino, lasseters, planetluck? and is everything allowed? pai gow auto play? bj etc?

El Scorcho
12-06-04, 12:42 PM
ok, here's what I got for reviews. I only play blackjack since I can whip through the playthrough requirements really fast.

Cirrus Casino playthrough: 20 x ($100 dep + $200 bonus) = $6,000 playthrough. Took me about 3 hours at the $3 blackjack level. Software goes really fast. They have just about every table game imaginable.

Lasseters: 20 x ($125 dep + $250 bonus) = $7,500 playthrough. Software is incredibly slow compared to other sites. You just can't whip through blackjack hand after blackjack hand here. They don't have Pai Gow. Took me about 10 hours total to meet the reqs.

Planetluck: 8 x ($100 dep + $100 bonus) = $1,600 playthrough. Software is great. At the $1 blackjack level I whipped through the hands in about 2.5 hours. They have Pai Gow I believe.

I've been sticking to blackjack only since the odds are close, it's less thinking, and goes quite a bit faster.

Here's my latest totals. Mgbfan, big thanks for pointing this shit out to me. Through research and reviews, I've been able to find some pretty good deposit bonus/low playthrough sites :)

Cirruscasino -> $100 dep, $200 bonus, $300 out
Casino-on-net -> $200 dep, $300 bonus (2 referrals), $767 out
Reefclub -> $50 dep, $50 bonus, $68 out
Lasseters -> $125 dep, $250 bonus, $600 out
Planetluck -> $100 dep, $100 bonus $280 out

So that's $575 -> $2015 :D

Wow. You have done well. I'm glad. I haven't done Cirrus or Lassaters. Drop me an email, maybe we can trade referrals.

Nope. It's really easy to pick up though. About 90% of the hands require no thinking at all. (such as standing with 19 or 20, or hitting with 4 through 8) I can blow through the requirements much faster with blackjack than I can with PaiGow.

do you have a good simple cheat sheet for me?

i of course know how to play, but i don't know optimum strategy.

and do you do any of those crazy betting patterns i see at other forums? i dont know what they mean really, but they are like 1-2-7 or 247 or something i dont really understand, but would assume it has to do with bet amounts? (sounds like a bunch of crap to me, as I'm sure the edge remains the same)

El Scorcho
12-06-04, 01:34 PM
Cheat sheets are available at www.wizardofodds.com . Click on blackjack.

The only real betting pattern I use is to up my bets when I hit a streak of 3 or more.

I'll bet $1 or $2 per hand (minimum) all the way until I win a few in a row. Then I bump it to $5. Then if I win that, I bump it to $10. If I win that, I start over at $1 or $2.

It doesn't provide the enormous $500 wins or anything like that, but it has gotten me a little extra on top of my bonus.

On Lasseters.com, I was so pissed off at their site being so slow and crappy that I bet all $266 on one hand just to get rid of it and I hit.

what's the house edge in Black Jack? having to wager 6000 looks a little steep for a 200$ bonus...

El Scorcho
12-06-04, 04:15 PM
around 0.5%.

I did the math. On a $200 buyin with $200 bonus and a $2000 wager requirement and playing $1 a hand, you will lose $206 about 0.25% of the time.

There's a standard deviation chart on wizardofodds that explains the risk involved. Basically, there almost isn't any risk if you stick to basic strategy.

Best way to check to see how much you've wagered is to get on a live chat with an operator and ask them. Takes about 2 minutes for them to look it up.

so i've got a question about working off bonuses...

if i'm trying to work off a 100$ bonus, and i hit a bad streak... and go down 105. so i have 95 left. can i withdraw that 95 without meeting the bonus requirements? or am i screwed?

why i ask is...

i'm thinking, if all you are trying to do is make $ from bonus whoring, would it not be more efficient to sign up, get the bonus, and immediately bet the entire bonus on one hand of blackjack or something? if you win, play off the bonus, if not cash out your deposit?

i imagine this would cut your profit down very slightly, but would reduce your playthrough time in half... and you would be very unlikely to not cash out some money above your deposit on the sites where you did double up your bonus?

you could even take it further if you want... bet the bonus, if you win, bet all but your deposit again. this way you'd only have to play off 1 in 4 bonuses, but they would all be like 4x as big.

El Scorcho
12-07-04, 01:36 PM
With $5 bets, that type of swing is normal.

Standard deviation of the game is 1.15*sqrt(n)*x, where n is the number of hands and x is your bet size.

At x = $5, your n = $6000/$5, or 1200 hands.

Therefore, your standard deviation will be 1.15*sqrt(1200)*5 = $199.

This means that betting $5 a hand with a $6000 playthrough requirement will provide you with:

68% chance of you being in the +$199 or -$199 range
95% chance of you being in the +$398 or -$398 range
98% chance of you being in the +$597 or -$597 range

In other words, you stand a 32% chance of losing or winning more than $200, and a 5% chance of you winning or losing more than $400, roughly.

If you drop your bets to $1 bets, your standard deviation drops to $40, at which point you stand a 98% chance of being in the +$120 or -$120 range.

This is, of course, assuming a normal distribution of blackjack hands.

Once you accept your bonus, you can't cashout until you've wagered n*(Bonus+Deposit), where n is whatever the site stipulates. This requirement becomes waived if you run out of cash (Under $1).

Some sites have "sticky" bonuses which are for wagering purposes only that you can't cash out, but can use to bet with.

For example, a site could have $100 with $100 sticky bonus. If you run your balance up to $380, you can only cash out $280. The best strategy on these sites is to wager Deposit+bonus all on your first hand. And then work from there if you win.

moorehed
12-07-04, 01:51 PM
ah, so i couldn't cash out my initial deposit if i lost the bonus but had not completed my hands... my idea is invalid then.

you would wager your real money as well on the "sticky" bonus?

on those, i'm guessing if you lose the sticky bonus you can still cashout the money you deposited? or no?

moorehed
12-07-04, 01:52 PM
thanks for the sandard deviation lesson. it's been a while since i was in statistics. my variance though was only on a 100$ bonus playing 1600$ playthrough. yeah i probably should have been playing smaller bets. oh well. the software was extremely fast and smooth after their technical glitches got fixed.

El Scorcho
12-07-04, 01:54 PM
Nope, once you accept any bonus of any kind you need to meet the wagering requirements for both bonus and deposit before cashing out. Usually on sticky bonuses it's a lot lower (4x and 8x are typical).

And yes, you wager your own money and the sticky bonus all on the first hand.

For example, if you dep $100, get $100 bonus, and you lose, you're only out $100. But if you win, you're up $300, and you can play through your requirements as normal. Although when you cash out, you have to subtract your sticky bonus amount from your winnings.

El Scorcho
12-07-04, 04:29 PM
The problem that I've noticed about the bonus whoring scene is that the bonuses are becoming ridiculous and drying up.

CHeck out discussions at www.casinoexploit.com for more.

Basically a lot of the bonuses are becoming "sticky" (which I hate) or having wager requirements at 30-35x. So that means a $100 buyin with $100 bonus would have to be played through $6000 or so.

using the 1.15*sqrt(6000)*$1 for 6000 hands at $1 each, your STDEV = $89.

That means that playing at the lowest level possible and assuming the casino sites are 100% fair with their Random Number Generators (RNGs), you will either double or lose your $100 bonus money about 89% of the time. (Note: For sake of discussion, this assumes a 50/50 blackjack game with 0% house edge).

Its an interesting math discussion.

i wonder how much $ you could make fulltime bonus whoring.

Not much. As El Scorcho already mentioned, good deals like Reef Club and CoN just aren't that common. I can't speak from fristhand experience, but people say that the real bonus whoring hay days were in the late 1990s, when online gambling was pretty new and casinos weren't as wise as they are now. People say you could make upward of $30k a year.

Those days are clearly gone. I think if you devoted yourself to it, you might be able to make $5k now, but it'd be a whole lot of work.

I grab a good one when I see it. If I can make a few bucks, that's great. It's money to take my lady out to a fancy restraunt or to buy some overpriced electronics gaget that I've been wanting but would never shell out "real" money for. Just a guilt-free way to spend money that I wouldn't otherwise spend.

The real money now is in poker. What I've made in the occasional casino bonus doesn't hold a candle to the money I've made at poker.

moorehed
12-07-04, 06:37 PM

what sites/games do you find to be most profitable?

i've been wondering if profits would go ^ if i moved to party and played NL tables.

The bulk of my money came through Party Poker. I was out ahead of the poker "craze" so I really benefited from cutting up the constant stream of fish that came through over the course of the past several years. Though these days, it's not nearly as easy as it used to be. A year ago, people were just falling over themselves to give me their money. Now, it's work again.

These days I've been playing Prima rooms. The European players aren't nearly as good as the Americans, by and large, and Prima is filled with Europeans.

As for NL tables, they can be massivly profitable, but you HAVE to have a cool demeanor and be willing to understand you're talking about a very high variance. You can't flip over maniacs who catch cards.

acttyper, you know of any other good fully cashable bonuses w/~10x requirements that allow games with a reasonable house edge? (bj, pai gow?)

After CON, Starluck, and Planetluck, the next lowest I believe is Casino County at 15x dep+bonus of 100% up to$100. So $3k wr.

I'm investigating sites with autoplay now, see if its worth it.

BTW, One thing I noticed with the sites that have autoplay (I think they're Microgaming software sites) is that their stupid fucking application runs in the foreground with 100% CPU power. So in turn it completely overheats my laptop and I have to stop playing for 5 minutes.

Only when its in the foreground though.

Lasseters.com has 200% bonus up to $250 ($125 deposit) that is totally cashable.

200% SIGNUP BONUS - Up to $250.

All eligible accounts will receive the 200% Sign-up Bonus offer on the day of the player's first deposit.
Players participating in this offer will be unable to withdraw funds from their player account until such time as the total of the player's deposit and the bonus funds have been bet/wagered at least ten (10) times or played to extinction. For example, with an initial deposit of $100 and a $200 bonus, the wagering requirement would be at least $3,000 before a withdrawal can occur.
Using the player's deposit and bonus funds to wager on Roulette, Baccarat and Sic Bo does not fulfill the player's obligations with regard to the total amount bet/wagered.
For the game of Blackjack players will be unable to withdraw funds from their player account until such time as the total of the player's deposit and the bonus funds have been bet/wagered at least twenty (20) times or played to extinction.
The maximum percentage based sign up bonus payment receivable is $250.
The percentage sign up bonus does not apply to players who have previously received a Lasseters Online sign-up bonus or who reside in a Lasseters Online non-cash gaming jurisdiction.
The bonus is based on one player registering one cash account only at Lasseters Online.
Lasseters Online reserves the right to review a player's transaction record. If, upon review, it appears that a player is participating in strategies, which Lasseters Online deem to be abusive, we reserve the right to revoke any such bonus payments to the player.
Lasseters Online reserves the right to modify or terminate a promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever without notice.

Their sister site, Ausvegas.com, has $100 bonus on a $50 dep with similar T&C.

Both sites require you to fax or email a scanned copy of your drivers license in order to cash out. And the software is painfully slow. But its one of the best bonuses left after the sites you mentioned.

Cool analysis. I've toyed with online casinos, but haven't made the jump yet because of concerns of exactly this possibility.

Code is so easy to manipulate. Plus there is no equivalent of the NGC to at least give the appearance of checks and balances.

Plus I don't think I would gamble well without 2nd hand smoke, 2nd hand cocktail waitresses, and someone to blame for taking the dealers bust card.

You're safe if you do your homework. Check for reviews on message boards. Who runs the sites? Stuff like that.

Lasseters.com and ausvegas.com are both run by the australian government. Casino-on-net.com is one of the biggest in the industry. If its one of the biggest, chances are they're not scamming anyone. Same with their sister site, reefclubcasino.com.

Diamonddealcasino.com:

Buy $100, get $200 in bonus. Bonus comes in steps:

1) $100 bonus comes after $1500 playthrough. Comes automatically online, and a pop up window will appear notifying you that you've achieved your bonus. However, if you run out of chips before $1500, you can contact customer service via live chat and get the bonus.

2) $100 additional bonus comes via live chat and asking for it. It is not credited automatically.

Total wager requirements: $4500 for $300 bankroll (15x). Blackjack is eligible.

Bought in for $100, cashed out for $275.

Ha - I just did DiamondDeal this weekend as well. Didn't fare as well as you did. Still came out ahead, but was getting hammered down the stretch run of the wagering requirement.

Keeping my eyes open for the next one to try.

El Scorcho

I only did as well as I did because I went all in with $150 left about halfway thru the wagering requirement and got dealt 5-3-3-K vs dealer 8-Q.

I was getting worked doing flat betting. I've never seen so many dealer 5/6's turn into 20/21.

El Scorcho
12-13-04, 01:26 PM
BTW, I've read things about DiamondDeal now. Most common complaint is that it's an extremely streaky software. More streaky than your typical random blackjack dealer. Best strategy I've read is to take advantage of the winning streaks using progressive betting and ride through the losing streaks betting the minimum. Flat betting doesn't seem to work as well at DiamondDeal.

Haha, yep. Same with Lasseters. Got pissed at losing shitloads of hands in a row, bet big (that time it was $266) and hit. Sometimes you just gotta lay it all on the line. Especially when you're given such a huge deposit bonus.

Yeah, i'm sure there are legit sites out there.

What really scares me is the ease of access. It would be way to easy to quietly dig myself into a hole from the comfort of my chair. Infrequent trips with "allowance money" is probably the best approach for borderline-compulsives like me.

Ha! I got my DiamondDeal payment on Sunday via Neteller. Didn't fare NEARLY as well as you did, but still +$87.

On a side note, I tried one of DD's sister casinos, Las Vegas USA, which had a similar deal (100% 10x) and if you thought DiamondDeal was streaky ... forget about it. I busted out at LVUSA. First time I've EVER done that. Granted, by the time I'd been nickle and dimed down to $50, I said screw it and went all-in and lost. But still.

In other words, between the two Main Street Group casinos, my net was -$13. Hardly a tragedy.

The owner of an Elka Systems casino contacted the Online Players Association in May 2002 claiming that their games are fair. He invited the OPA to test the games. The tester deposited $50 and played Jacks or Better video poker at $1.25 per hand. The player had no wins and all losses.

This request was instigated probably by the bad press that this software provider has had over the past couple of years. In October 2001, a player of Brilliant Casino had his winnings forfeited because the casino decided the software wasn't random enough. Yeah, right.

Recently, they have been using the name "Oyster Gaming" for their software, but it is the same software only in a different package.

Most of these casinos have a spotty record. They've participated in everything from deceptive spam emails to copyright theft. The following is a list of casinos that use this software, and other related websites that are located on the same server:
