David Gray: any news on a new album?

I went to his official site and found nothing. It's been nearly 3 years since "A New Day..." which I love -- can't wait for his next project.

That was the description for March and April. The rumors on David Gray's official site point toward a September release.

Also, Marcus De Vries is listed as a Co-producer on David Gray's forthcoming album. He worked on "Sail Away" from "White Ladder".

I saw that part on his bio page.

Just odd that the weird management/production company has a teeny bit of info, but David Gray's official site has not been updated since early 2003.

I'm sure it was a just a typo, but the album is actually titled "Life in Slow Motion". Four of the tracks from the upcoming CD have been played on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic and audio rips are circulating throughout the internet. They sound very good. There is a lengthy interview posted on the davidgray.com message board as well, with David Gray going over most of the songs individually. He seems to feel that this is his best lyrical effort - if it can rival A Century Ends, lyrically, I'd be very impressed!

Here is the link to the interview: http://www.davidgray.com/dgbb/ultima...c&f=1&t=004361
