Is there a new WEIRD AL YANKOVIC album on the way??

http://www.com-www.com/weirdal/polkaed.html

I saw this site, and noticed that there is a Rolling Stones polka called Hot Rocks Polka, but it is not on any current Weird Al album.

Is this a hint that there's something on the way?

The Hot Rocks Polka is the fifth (5th) song on the "UHF Soundtrack" album.

Holy CRAP!!! I LOVE Al's polkas more than anything on God's green Earth! I gotta get this just for the polka.

...........sorry, I'm still reeling about this revelation.

Speaking of Angry White Boy Polka, I think Al sings those songs better than the original artists. But, because of Al's greatness, I went and bought all those songs. Al has introduced me to a life beyond my normal surroundings. God bless Al.

I like Weird Al

I like his humor

I think "Albuquerque" is the greatest song ever made.

But "UHF" was a bad movie.

BTW: "Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters from a Planet near Mars"

Awesome title.

Given Al's current pace, I'd be surprised if we see an album before 2006.

(...3 years between "Alapalooza" and "Bad Hair Day", 3 years between "Bad Hair Day" and "Running With Scissors", 4 years between "Running with Scissors" and "Poodle Hat"...)

I hated UHF first, but grew to really like it. It is an acquired taste for sure.

I hated UHF when I first saw it, but I love it now. You have to watch it a couple of times to 'get' it.

Micheal Richards is a genius in this.

Get the DVD, watch with the commentary on.

I doubt a new CD will come soon, wish it would. He's just wrapping up his tour, and still grieving over his parents' deaths.

I have 11 of his CD's, only missing Peter and the Wolf, too expensive.

His TV show was brilliant too.

You can call "UHF" an aquired taste, call me a heathen, but its so strikingly different, humor-wise, than his music that i just do not care for the movie.

I liked the commentary, but the only part of the movie that was funny was the "Rambo" bit.

Chewing up the bullet and spitting it out machine gun style was great, but when the guy exploded i lost it

UHF rules, and Weird Al is the only artist that I still love and buy albums of since I was in elementary school (early 80's)

To be honest (and I am), while I still continue to buy Weird Al albums, it is only because I look forward to the polkas. Every once in a while, a good parody will also be included (as was the case with Poodle Hat - I thought E-Bay was hysterical).

E-Bay is great. Genius in France is way too long, it's the 'Albequerque' and 'Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota' of the album without the same bite.

Trash Day is better than the original song it is parodying.

Bob, A Complicated Song, and Wanna Be Ur Lovr show that Al's still got it.

I wholeheartedly agree! I have a friend who just doesn't get Weird Al, and it was so fun when another friend and I played Albuquerque over and over again laughing hystarically the whole time. The one who doesn't get it just had the dumbest look on his face... like "what the hell are these guys singing?"

Every Monday morning at the game store i used to work at I would play "Weird Al". The only time i ever got someone to laugh when Weird Al played was when i played "A Complicated Song".

These two guys busted up at the part about getting married and having kids with seven toes.
