Star Wars question based on Rolling Stone Mag

When writing about DVD extras, Travers said that he learned what Vader really wants from Luke.

WITHOUT ANY SPOILERS, can you answer that question?

(And did I say - no spoilers. If it requires spoiler, please say so and decline to answer it)

I think what hes getting at is that Vader wants help from Luke so they can defeat the Emepeor. Vader wants to be Emperor with Luke at his side.

Travers needed the DVD to learn that?

Vader in ESB: "Luke, you can destroy the Emperor. He has forseen this. Join me and together we will rule the galaxy as father and son."

What do you mean "without any spoilers"? Haven't you seen Star Wars? If not why are you even asking this question? What question are you asking, exactly? I guess I'm just confused.

I'm guessing he means without spoiling Episode III, in case that's where Travers got the info from.

Probably some flowers. Everyone loves flowers.

Also, Travers is an idiot, he probably actually just realized that Vader was wanting to join up with Luke.

Why do some people post ambiguous questions and then never come back to the thread?

I meant no spoilers from Episode 3.

I know one of the disks has a sneak preview or something like that.

If the info somehow reflects on the plot for that movie, I don't want to know the answer.

There really aren't any spoilers for Episode 3 on the Star Wars DVDs. I mean, there's footage from one one-on-one battle, but it's not that much of a secret/spoiler.

Unless you don't know who Darth Vader is, then I guess there will be some spoilage.

Just for Luke to turn the goddamn music down because it's making him very edgy and he already has to deal with enough damn garbage at the office from those backbiting bastards who, by the way, are almost as bad as Luke's mother, wherever the Hell she is.

Oh, and he wants Luke to bring him a scotch. And no lip.
