Does anyone own a Sylvania TV?
I'm looking for a cheap TV and am interested in this brand because Sears MAY be discounting this for their upcoming post turkey day sale.
Does anyone own one of these?
This brand is a little more than the APEX
brand that Best Buy may carry during the same sale. However, hopefully the
quality is better.
Any opinions?

well one of my friend owns a 27" tv, seems pretty good for the money imo. I can't compare to a Apex thou haven't really seen them much except in BB. The one my friend has doesn't have a S-video input if your intrested in that, but other than that i thought it had a pretty good picture.
I also used to work in stock at a Sears and we rarely had returns of 27" sylvania's, although teh combo tv/vcr/dvd is another story along with the 13" combo vcr. I would stay away from those.

Thanks for info. I really never thought about getting a TV/VCR/DVD combo because I'd be worried that if something went wrong with one of the components, you'd be SOL.
I had heard that the 27 inch TV may be around $135-$140 which
doesn't sound bad if the quality of the TV is decent.
