Anyone checked out "No Opportunity Wasted"?
It's a new show on the Discovery Channel, created and hosted by the Phil-iminator himself, Phil Keoghan (from The Amazing Race fame). Here's a snippet from its web page.
Admittedly, seeing Phil's name attached to the show intrigued me so I decided to check it out. I've only seen a few episodes so far. I can appreciate the intensity of having these dreams fulfilled in 3 days but $3,000 just seems so limited. I would've figured something a little bit more (like $5000) would have been more appropriate.
Like other cable channels, they rebroadcast shows at various points but original episodes air Thursday nights at 8ET. Anyway, has anyone else checked this out?
What if you had 72 hours, $3,000 and the opportunity to pursue your dream?
We asked this question last fall, and thousands of America's most imaginative, innovative and inspired responded. We picked 26 of the best and followed their stories in the new series: No Opportunity Wasted.
Conceived by Phil Keoghan, globe-trotting host of the Emmy Award-winning The Amazing Race, No Opportunity Wasted is about living each day as if it were your last. It's about physical and mental challenges that metaphorically and literally take dreamers to the edge. It's about expression on a grand scale.

I have...I watched the first episode..sharks and the guy with the boat..then another one about some guy who wanted to be a wrestler..it's alright..I don't watch the ones I have no interest in but i've seen better, and worse...it's a neat concept though..
