Takashi Miike City of Lost Souls

I found the comparision of the R0 and R1...

But has anyone compared this to the Takashi Miike The CITY OF LOST SOULS Tartan version? I'm assuming that's not a bootleg version.

I got confused since dvdpricesearch shows the Ventura as 4:3. It looked like it wasn't widescreen nor anamorphic. That's what got me confused. And I figured the Tai Seng version might have issues.
