URGENT: Pioneer Home Theater Recommendations...
Hey everyone, I have the ability to buy the following Home Theater system for $198 new. Its an older Pioneer system, but I'd love to know if anyone has any recommendations for Pioneer Home Theater systems...

We were in the market for a "second" system for the living room and came across a nice Pioneer Elite receiver/DVD combo that I couldn't pass up. It's the VSX-50 receiver with the DV-50A DVD player that's just like the new 578 Pioneer model. Check the Pioneer web site for specs. I was able to pick this system up along with the Polk 6005 sats and 10' sub for $500. The Pioneer dual system can be found on-line for about $300 I think. So far I've been pretty impressed with it.

***Just looked in this morning (Sunday's) paper. need to check out Circuit City's add. They have a Pioneer receiver with the new 578 DVD player and the Infinity TSS-450 speaker package for $500. Not bad considering the Infinity sound system normally sells for $350 by-itself and it does sound very good. I don't think you'll find a better deal in the so-called "HTIB" catagory than this. Good luck.
