Replay TV not working with Direct TV

I have a Panosonic Replay TV Showstopper and Love It. It worked fine for me when I had cable but since I switched to Direct TV They say I can not use it since the signal does not want to see a splitter. Is there a way I am not aware of to hook these to components up together. HELP I want my Replay TV

You could always do what I did...I hate Direct TV so I went back to Digital cable! Good luck in any event!

Tivo does not work with splitters either.

It has to do with the output voltages of the lnb's and they way that the tuners look for channels from the dish.
