ok, for those who wanted to wait for a deal and you have a microcenter nearby, the new logitech precision cordless controllers are on sale.
ps2 - $25
xbox - $35 (why is xbox's $10 more??? it's a conspiracy, i tell ya' )
--
also, here's a rebate for the xbox version if you buy a game.
1 controller + xbox game = $5
2 controllers + xbox game = $15

The Xbox version is $10 more cause it has to include the stupid memory card base.
Anyway, these are the same prices you can get them for at Best Buy using a Gamer Card.

You can go to www.microcenter.com and order the PS2/Xbox Logitech wireless controllers. The only problem is that the Xbox one is $39.99 not $34.99. It is still cheaper than other places but you have to pay for shipping. I ordered both online.

Just got a few of these at Microcenter. You have to show the clerk the ad (as it is oddly worded - mentions the additional $5 by mail but also states you save $10 when it is usually $44.99). Excellent deal!!!!

1. it's some sort of advertising mistake
2. their computers are incorrectly programmed
clearly, regular price is $45. there is a big red sign that says, Save $10. then there is a final price - $35. finally, a little blurb that says, "save an ADDITIONAL $5".
the controller came up as $40 for me as well. and the cashier wouldn't honor the $35 b/c she said the other $5 is from the rebate (which makes the ad not make sense). had to get the manager who read it and agreed w/ me.
so, let me throw in a YMMV.
