Does A & E Ever Release Dvd's?

A & E has always been known for its good programming. I recently watched a movie directed by Christopher Reeves called the "Mary Kay Story." Does A & E traditionally release movies or just shows? If so has anyone heard about this coming to dvd? Please let me know.

I've got all of A&E's Horatio Hornblower films on DVD. Not sure if you consider those movies or shows, but I love 'em.

They released "Ike" with Tom Selleck three months after it aired. Other movies, like "Shackleton", were in stores almost instantly. Go figure, I guess.

Maybe the fact that it was Chistopher Reeves directing they will put it out on dvd. It also got a lot of publicity after his death. So I guess we'll see.

I believe A&E released the Mr. Bean & Mony Python's Flying Circus discs. Plus, they are releasing that Aerosmith DVD that was mentioned in another thread.

They are also responsible for the Homicide: Life on the Street DVD's. For that matter, they own the History Channel, which puts out lots of DVDs.
