Music Trivia Question (Steve Miller)

Back in the 1970's and early 80's, Steve Miller Band scored #1 hits with The Joker, Rock 'N Me, and Abracadabra.

In 2001, Steve Miller topped the charts again, but this time just as a songwriter. Can you name the song that has Steve Miller in the writer's credits?

Just guessing..."Angel" by Shaggy? He sampled Miller's "The Joker" in that song, so he'd get a writing credit.

Simply amazing. That's the right answer. Steve Miller got a writing credit on that song because Shaggy sampled the bass beat from "The Joker."

They need to bring back Beat the Geeks so I can be on it. Also, I used to love VH1's Rock n Roll Jeopardy (or, as my friends called it when they watched it with me, "Loser Jeopardy"). I bow down before the music minutae knowledge of Mark McGrath, though.

Edit: So what do I win?

Yeah, I used to think I knew a lot, too, before I saw that guy. It's nuts how much he knows.
