Specs for the R1 Japanese version of The Grudge?
Coming soon, I think the early part of November is the original Japanese theatrical version of Ju-on: The Grudge. It's been available as an import for those with multi-region players for a long time now. But I am wondering if anyone out there knows what specs the U.S. version will have. I know the import features an alternate ending. Will this one also have this scene and/or other deleted scenes? Also, what about a commentary (Hopefully with Sam Rami)? If anyone knows the confirmed details for this release do let us know...

According to Video Business.com:
I don't think that's quite right, because Nov 11th is a Thursday, so I agree with the Nov 9th release date. Also, I remember reading an advertisement in Video Business that mentioned that Sam Raimi (and perhaps Rob Tapert?) is doing a commentary track.
Color, R (mature themes, brief gore, disturbing images), 92 min., DVD $24.98, VHS rental, Japanese with English subtitles
DVD: director's commentary, featurette, cast/director interviews, outtakes, alternate ending
Street: Nov. 11, Prebook: Oct. 12

Aww, but I was holding out for the Raimi commentary track. I usually enjoy his.
I forget though, has it been established which version (with DTS and English subs) is the best? HK? Korean?
