1.) If we are forced to watch Joe Buck and that uber-assclown Tim McCarver, at least dress them in suits and ties that don't look like they came from an American Legion thrift sale.
2.) Quit jamming human interest pieces and player profiles into the broadcast so much that you cut into plays already in progress.
3.) Make Jeanne Zelasko broadcast naked.
4.) Make McCarver wear a ball gag.
5.) If I promise to watch "House" and "The O.C." will Fox PLEASE stop making me watch the endless fucking promos?

I listened to the game on ESPN driving back from the casino tonight, and it was like a sweet dream. Yeah, Joe Morgan is annoying, but the lack of McCarver is just beautiful. Words can't describe. I don't know who at Fox Sports he has compromising photos of, and I'm not sure how young the boy in them is, but they must be doozies.

Pretty good list.
6.) Show hilites with some speed and talent. It seems they have brought less camera's or an incompetant crew and producer.

To me, McCarver is just some douchebag who went to my rival high school. Joe Morgan's O.K., but I still hate how he used that little bitch-ass arm flap motion during at-bats as a distraction so he could steal signs.

I'm a huge Sox fan, but even I admit that the Fox coverage has been very Sox partisan. If I were a Cards fan, I might be a wee bit pissed right now.

I miss the original <i>House</i> promos:
"From the network that brought you <i>24</i> ..."
Really? The very same network? Well, gee, if I liked <i>24</i> I simply must tune in for this!!!
All kidding aside, I will watch it. I mean, Joe Shill from the Hollow Opinion Dispatch said it's the greatest medical drama since the first season of <i>e.r.</i> ... which is his clever way of saying, "it's not crap like current <i>e.r.</i>" Still, that's a bold statement. That makes it better than <i>Providence</i> and <i>Strong Medicine</i>!
I'd like to make my own promo for this. "From the network that brought you <i>Who Wants to Get Kicked in the Nuts?</i> and <i>The World's Littlest Puke-Off</i> ..."

I hate the 'in game' interviews with coaches.

Yeah, the during-the-action broadcasts of taped interviews with the managers sucks almost as sloppy and hard as the during-the-action interviews with the, erm, stars of Fox's sitcom lineup.

I've actually been enjoying that part. :)
I, for one, could have used more of Jimmy Fallon's Bawstin accent. -ohbfrank- What the hell was Tom Hanks doing hanging out with that loser?

Less McCarver, more "Sounds from the Game", plz.
I'd love to hear more of the catcher/batter banter that goes on at home plate. And some of the conversations that runners have with the 1st baseman.
Perhaps put a wiretap on the bullpen phone.
Or when managers talk with their starters on the mound.
This is what baseball broadcast needs more of.

I really like the animations that they use going to break. Where they have the players name in cursive over the lower third of the screen, show highlights of them hitting, and then play some pop/hip-hop/rock song over it.
I like the camera angle in the dirt too. I think that is a pretty cool angle to get of the batter either striking out, or getting a hit.
I think they have gone a little overboard with all the close-ups of the fans...but the Red Sox are finally in it again, and Sox fans are so emotional that it is probably a pretty accurate depiction.

I agree about the fan close ups. Don't need to see so many dopey lookin fans. At least during the regular season they'd mostly just show hot ladies.
And naturally the broadcast is favored toward the Sox. East coast bias and all :)

I guarantee you that if the Cubs were in the WS ... they would suck up to the Cubs sob story like there was no tomorrow.
Now if it was Boston/Chicago. Shit, I dunno WHAT they'd do.

Sox fans deserve it. Especially since McCarver did nothing but verbally suck off the entire Yankee organization for over a week during the ALCS.

I'm a Cards fan and I don't care if the broadcast is biased towards the Sox. Did people expect fair and balanced programming? Of course not.
I'm personally sick of the little box that pops up and tells who is on the mound, at the plate, and who's on first, second and third.
