The worst deleted scene, one that you are most glad did not make the final cut.

I would say for me it was the deleted scene in The French Connection in which the assassin character is being brutalized by the prostitute.

The fight between Bill and Spawn on the Kill Bill Volume 2 DVD. Lousy dialogue, lame sound effects and terrible acting from Spawn. And Carradine does not look learned and deadly in this fight, just haggard and old. for leaving it out. I'll think of some others.

I would go with Rivero's also. It was hyped up and had no substance in the long run.

I'm sure this list can go on. A lot of the deleted scenes I see on dvd's are off the final product for a good reason.

The final scenes in The Sixth Sense. After watching the deleted version and hearing the commentary on why they cut it...I'm glad they cut it. The deleted scene was cool, but the scenes that made the final release were better.

I can't remember what the differences were but I do remember being happy they went with the ending they did.

The alternate ending of Clerks, where Dante's killed by a robber. That ending would've just ruined the entire movie.

Along with Clerks, the original 30+ minute opening to Mallrats. What a snoozefest.

The coda for Gattaca. Just text scrolling across a night sky shot, but it was horribly maudlin.

I don't know if it is the worst, but the alternate ending to "Boiler Room" is pretty bad when
Spoiler:
the customer who lost all his money abruptly brings a gun to the boiler room to go on a shooting spree. (Also, this ending omits the cool scene between Giovanni and Vin Diesel in the stairwell.)
That would have been a horrible way to end it. As the movie stands, the ending it really has is just enough.
