Once Upon a Time in Mexico/Desperado

So I have not seen either movie yet but I am interested in buying them. Now I have seen at a few stores that they are available seperatly and in 2 different box sets. The obvious difference in the box sets is $10 and a different cover. But I'm concerenced that the more inexpensive one does not have the special features that come in the original or other box set. I've checked other 2 pack dvd's and have not run across this problem in any of the others. Below are pics and I'm asking if anyone has any info on the box sets.

The Originals

the 1st Box set

All apologies the image is small but it's the best I could find.

the inexpensive 2nd box set

There is only one version of OUaTiM, it just has a different cover under it's sleeve. The Deperado with the fire on it is the SE.

You may also want to check out El Mariachi. It is the first movie in this series. Then you will have even more choices:

I'd get these two... The Double Feature has the same extras as the SEs. The only thing the SEs have more is a Sneek Peak @ Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

since it's:

1-cheaper

2- it looks better.

These are the versions I got.

The first set includes new SE versions of the first two movies, they include all new extras including the 10-minute Robert Rodriques movie thingys.

I wasn't sure I'd enjoy El Mariachi, but based on the feedback I may go that route.

It's a great DVD extras wise. Rodriguez does an awesome commentary.

As mikewendt said, the only difference is the trailer for Once Upon a Time.... The original double feature DVD also contains the 10 Minute Film School segments. I think that DVD is harder to find these days...

No matter which way you go you're going to wind up with some very entertaining movies. I'll take this trilogy over Spy Kids ANY day.
