DVD Talk review of 'The China Syndrome: Special Edition'
I read Holly E. Ordway's DVD review of The China Syndrome: Special Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=12748 and...
I think the "syndrome" is technically unbelievable although I do like all the main characters and it is a good fun movie with a good plot.
The reactor core would not melt to China because if it was not contained in the normal way, it would make its own glass capsule, shielding us all, as it entered a very short distance into the earth's crust.
The whole menacing breakaway core would be contained in the capsule.
