Motorized cabinet for flatscreen?
I stayed at a hotel recently where there was a square wooden cabinet (furniture-style) at the foot of the bed. Pressing a button on the nightstand caused the lid to rise (motor inside) to reveal a tv. The top of the cabinet was fixed to the top of the tv, and the tv rose to a height where it would be sitting on top of the original closed cabinet.
So, does anyone know where these are available? (I think they're custom jobs.) If I can find a thin one for a flatscreen, there's a new tv in my bedroom's future. $^)
btw, it was pretty slick because when the tv sank back into the cabinet, it automatically shut off if it was on when closed.
