I mean, which channel will you be watching for election coverage? It's not like there is a shortage of networks wanting your Nielsen ratings...

Probably will just check in here and there on the coverage, but if the election starts to go in favor of Kerry, I'll have to switch over to fox, just for the shock and horror on their faces.

I no longer have cable or it would be Fox News (I may crash at a friend's house for the night), so that leaves me choosing between the networks - probably try Fox or NBC.

Fox after I get home form work.

I might check out CBS just to hear Dan Rather says...

"CBS has estimate that George W. Bush will run a second terms as President of U.S....Shit, sorry folks but I'm outta here." :)

Hey, I like MSNBC! :grunt:

Mostly I think I just want to go to a bar with Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan, get 'em real drunk, and watch 'em go at it for a couple of hours. It would be pretty funny.

So, no CSPAN option? And I guess the DVD Talk Election Forum is the obligatory 'twikoff' option?

ABC - Peter Jennings gets me sexually excited/frustrated.

not cbs
blather is so biased it's not funny
during the 2000 election he couldn't control himself and allowed his emotion to show anytime a state was called

CBS if Bush is winning, FNC if Kerry is winning. Daily Show afterwords either way. Anyone know if they're doing anything for election night on the Daily Show?

MSNBC and NBC will have the same coverage - at least that's what happened in 2000. That's who I watched last time, and that's who I'll watch again...if only to watch Tim Russert work the numbers on that wipe board one more time.

I might watch FOX for a while to see how early they declare a Bush victory (probably around 8:01 PM EST) and then watch as they have to pull back from their early prediction. :)

I work for the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters so unfortunately I'll be on the phones until midnight with assorted nimrods (...Uh, am I registered to vote? Er.... is it too late to request an Absentee ballot ? Etc....)
In a perfect world I'd be sitting at home bouncing between MSNBC, FOX, CNN, and ABC with one eye on this forum.

PBS is the best.

None. I can't stand watching any of the TV networks since they're so annoying. I will keep an eye on some websites for updates.

Mostly FOX, but I will be tuning in to CBS from time to time...I wouldn't want to miss seeing Dan Rather's misery as he watches GWB win a second term in office.

NBC/MSNBC with some PBS thrown in for good measure.

Most likely I'll be alternating between the big three networks, PBS, and CSPAN.

If I watch the major networks - I will be watching ABC.

If not, then I will be watching either PBS or C-Span.

Probably NBC. I only have OTA so choices are limited, I hate CBS and ABC news. If FOXNews takes over the Fox channel, maybe Fox, and undoubtedly here.

I'll probably flip. In 2000 on CBS Lesley Stahl was unexpectantly on camera when it was announced that Bush was winning. She mouthed the words "oh, fuck" then looked into the camera like a deer in headlights. It was priceless.

I'll check my Yahoo page every once in a while, otherwise I'm watching a movie.

My parents and in-laws were here for a week and a half and I've seen more news coverage in this week than in the entire year previous. No thanks.

I'd almost guarantee that the Daily Show will have coverage. I seem to recall that they did a good job four years ago. In any case, I hope they do since that's where I'll turn for my coverage.

I'll just read the newspaper to find out who won. Hopefully it won't take a month this go-around...

He broke out the wipe board on Meet the Press this morning. Ah, that brings me back.

If Kerry wins, I'll watch Fox News so that I get satisfaction watching the republicans analyze why Bush lost.

Daily Show is going to be live at 10PM for their "Prelude to a Recount" election coverage. That's what I'll be watching.

I'll sit on the couch and flip between channels, and I'm sure I'll also have the laptop fired up and be logged on here.

I'm actually kinda pumped for the election. At this point I think it's about 60/40 that my guy loses, but I think the whole thing is going to be fun. I wont be able to resist watching it unfurl into the clusterf#ck that I think we all know it's going to be.

there's an option to the right where you can watch returns from your zipcode...and there's are ballot measure returns at the top.

Whichever has the best HD coverage. Ahhh...the warm glow of all that blue and red covering the country in High Def!

(Most likely ABC, but I'll flip/flop like the rest of us.)
