Jedi Academy Question

Just finished playing Jedi Knight II. Was a good game but didn't like the puzzle aspect of it (ie having to run around flipping switches and finding hidden area's to advance).

Is Jedi Academy like this? or do you get to go away and kick some butt.

The reviews all said it was vastly inferior to JKII as well, so your probably not missing much.

I didn't think were as many puzzles in JA as there was in JK:2. It's worth a rental at least IMO. I bought it and played thru it twice and thought it was a good game.

JA was well worth it for the added little features. duel sabers and so forth. Made it great for customizing.

Great for online play.

Get it only for online play, do not bother with the single player

Is the sabre techique the same as JK2? When I play (JK2) online, I find the light sabre tricky to use.

it's slight different. You can really control it a lot more and it isn't just random slashing anymore. After you hone your skills a little you can really craft out some killer combos and moves that will make you one hell of a duel master.
