Are you sure the thread was started by a Yankee fan? Because I dont remember seeing him here cheering on his team during the regular season.

Like Laker fans, they are in hibernation until the playoffs.

Which proves his point. Aside from you, Bushdog, and Bust. Now that the Yankees have the lead, Yankee "fans" come out of the woodwork.

I'm not doubting your (or Tool, or a select couple Yankee & Laker fans) team-related Mania, though. You are a true fan.

Explain the point to me before I lock this thread...
It's been our policy all season that unless something really amazing happens (like a RJ no-hitter...), all gameday baseball discussion is kept in the daily baseball thread.
I'm not sure how this qualifies for its own thread.

Well, if people don't bother showing up all year until their team has a lead in the playoffs, how are they going to know where to post their smack??? We need a sticky thread.

It was also an event, whether people like it or not. Taking a 2-0 lead in a best of seven is not.

Sure it is. The event is the reality that you Sox fans will continue to NEVER have a championship!

But... By your own argument, we should have separate threads to say the sun rose every day, or "Hey! I breathe oxygen!".

I gave you guys a chance to convince me. I've not been convinced. Thread locked.
Please continue all game discussion (or smack talk ;) ) in the daily thread.
