Anyhow, is this going to be another filler episode or will it actually have something of substance?
Any guesses on how they will toss in a shower scene into this episode?

Jack - I'm thinking it will be an ep full of filler.

I'm guessing Chloe or some secondary character for this week's shower scene.
Looking forward to next week's episode.

Looking forward to watching the show once again. Can't wait to see what Clark does on the field, I'm sure the Kryptonite will slow him down or make him human.
Isn't Clark an Ex-Football high school football star in the current comic book version or Superman (of course when he was growing up in Smallville).

I really hope I am wrong about this episode, but NONE of the previews give me any hope at all.

Its on right now and after 30 minutes, its one of the worst pieces of writing i've ever seen. Lois still makes it well worth watching, her closet rocks since the largest outfit she has is a size too small for her
I've concluded 2 things :
Its a school for 25 year old attractive people who apparently will never get out of high school
Kryptonite appears to be the most common substance known to mane.
Well, it doesnt end much better...

I thought the episode had some laughs, though the FOTW bits in the form of a love potion got silly. I don't know when I'll recover from Chloe in the cheerleader outfit. But the last 10 minutes of the relational aspect of the show was pretty good. Glad Clark didn't string Chloe along and was just straight up with her. Lex pulls out the stops to gain back Clark's trust, and gets Lois back on track for college.

I thought the episode was mainly one of the lighter ones, too. A lot of humor, particularly around the Clark & Lois dynamics. It sets up what they're going to be when they're adults essentially, with Lois sort of forcing Clark into situations where he's a little reluctant to play along with.
And there were more references to the Superman films, too. Clark jokingly says to Lois that their conversations should be strictly kept to "hello and goodbye" (a line Lois uses about Superman in the second film). Or where Clark talks about being able to "score every time," etc.
Didn't think much about the Temple of Doom solution. I guess they're running out of cure ideas when someone gets Kryptonited up.
Chloe did look very nice in the outfit, tho.

I thought the episode was fine. I don't expect every episode to move the story along, and just about every show has so called "filler" episodes that people seem to complain about. Still don't care much for Chloe... both the character, and her looks. Not attractive to me even in the cheerleader outfit
Can't wait for next week though
