Friday the 13th SELLIN OUT EVERYWHERE

Jeez, Just got off the phone with best buy, because I cant get it there and she said they sold out 4 times alredy. 4 times?! yes 4 times. Circuit city was also sold out. Suncoast had some but jacked the price up to around 70$ which is insanity. Fye had it but at 65 but I figured Ill wait till best buy gets it. Its pretty insane, would you really expect this movie to be sellin out? They probly just get a small amount, but still its pretty weird.

I went to Best Buy and Circuit City last Friday, and both were sold out. Had to wait till today to get mine.

I'd buy Part 3 if it supported 3D, but that's about it.

Exactley, even so MSRP is 79.99 so it's still below that.

My Suncoast had it for 89.99, but that was also what they were selling the Showgirls VIP Edition for.

Our Wal-Mart has plenty of copies, probably because they are charging $65 for it. I'm not going to buy it there, i'll find a better deal somewhere else.

Suncoast doesn't jack up prices...they sell at MSRP. It's always been that way. I forgot what it's called, but the only time it's a good deal is when they have one of those periodic frequent buyer programs and even then it's probably not as good a deal as Amazon+share the love.

I got it for $50 and change and have yet to see a better price than that.

Hey, it doesn't count when a retailer messes up.

I'm holding off for a better release in the future, if there's one.

is Best Buy still offering that bonus disc that comes with their copies of the movie? I haven't got a chance to check, and probably won't be able to until late Friday. just wondering if anyone had any luck getting a bonus disc a week after release.

Think Halloween being right around the corner, and this box set just coming out, have anything to do with it? ;-)

Retailers can charge even more than MSRP if they want. Just ask FYE

The set was sold out everywhere around here too.

Now, only one Best Buy store got some extra stock. The others are still sold out as is Circuit City and everywhere else.

No bonus discs whatsoever in the new Best Buy shipment.

I went to my BB and they had none whatsoever. Then right when i was about to walk away, a store clerk i guess found one in the back and put it out in the horror section. I snatched it up quick, and it came with the bonus disc!

Boy, you guys are paying through the nose down there. Up here in Canada you can get it for 59.99 CND, but I wanted the bonus disc that was offered at Best Buy. It was selling there for 63.99 CND.

I bought it for $44.99 at Walmart, The woman at the cash rep. was like 'we're price matching this for fifty--uh..yeah...forty-four ninety-nine.'

I didnt argue, and it was 2:30am. So I'm sure she was tired.

Wow I'm surprised this is selling out so much. I thought no one would be buying this due to the knock up job Paramount did on it.

I got mine from Futureshop.ca with the bonus disc for $59.99 CND. They sold out quick and that version is not listed on the site anymore. Don't know about the stores though.
