This may have been discussed before, but my search hasn't turned it up. Does anyone know why Zatoichi 14: Zatoichi's Pilgrimage has not yet been released? It seems that all the other films in the series have been or are being released but that one. Anyone know why? Thanks.

It's just a question of money. Shintaro Katsu's estate holds the rights to this film, and they have yet to be offered what they think the distribution right is worth. For now, all that's officially available is a Japanese R2 release available without subtitles.
