Is anyone else interested in seeing this show? I think the trailers make it look decent, though I'm skeptical about seeing Kelly Osbourne in it.

Kelly Osbourne has got me uninterested in it. I'm still gonna record it in my bedroom (since both tuners on my main D*Tivo will be occupied during the timeslot.) I don't watch much episodic TV in my bedroom though so I'm not sure when I'll have time to watch this.
Hard to see it lasting too long against CSI and The Apprentice.

Yeah - I've seen reviews all across the board on this one. I guess I'll record it tonight and check it out. Frankly, The Apprentice hasn't been that good so far, so I could see myself finding another alternative, particularly since it looks like Tru Calling won't be coming to this timeslot anytime soon.

The clip they played on Jimmy Kimmel a couple nights ago was great, although I might've liked it mainly for the Postal Service playing in the background. I'm really looking forward to this. It's created by a couple of Freaks and Geeks guys. I would think that would be enough to get most people here to try it.

So did anyone else check out the show? I didn't think it was that bad at all. Some of the soliloquies weren't too great, but on average they didn't annoy me. Osbourne was tolerable although she definitely should have taken a few more acting lessons. The first half of the show had a very cliche feel, but it definitely grew on me as the hour went on. I will be keeping the season pass to see how the show develops.

I didn't think it was very good, however I wouldn't call myself a very good judge. I thought Kelly Osbourne was quite good actually, at least a heck of a lot better than I thought she'd be. DB Sweeney looked like he had been in rehab for 10 years.
Anyway, just throwing my $.02 in there.

I thought Kelly was fine. DB Sweeney needs to get off the hockey trip, maybe he'd find more work.
I found it absolutely preposterous that the kid backed out of having sex w/ his gf because of his mom. Give me a break, absolutely NOTHING would've stopped him from getting with that chick. His mom could've been attacked by wolves and he still would've done it. Instead, he cries.
If the show is going to be about horny teenage boys, it should have some resemblance to reality.

I have never been in that situation so I really can't judge him on that choice. Obviously sitting at home I was a little annoyed I didn't get to see her in that red lingerie. The part that annoyed me about Osbourne was when she got ignored she put on the most poorly acted upset face that seemed like she was telling herself "ok now turn head with a sad face." Other than that she was fine. That was the only part that stuck out in my head.

Okay I had no idea about this show going into last night's premiere and I never saw an episode of Freaks and Geeks. But I was definitely cracking up with some of the stuff... GET IN THE DAMN CAR!
Ill definitely give this another week's watching.

From Zap2it.com:
This show didn't have a good start and was beaten by a baseball first-round playoff game. I don't think it'll survive in the current time slot.
"CSI," 17.1/26, dipped some from its premiere two weeks ago but was still by far the night's most-watched show. "The Apprentice," 10.5/16, kept NBC in second, while FOX's baseball game moved up to third with a 4.8/7 for the hour. The premiere of ABC's "life as we know it" managed only a 3.2/5 against the stiff competition. "Smackdown!" kept UPN in fifth, while The WB went with a rerun of "One Tree Hill."

Being that it was from a couple of F&G writers, I was interested in seeing this show, but was left kind of disappointed. To me, it did not have the zip of F&G and just played out as very typical, cliche of the genre. It wasn't completely awful, but not worth an hour of time every week.
