First show(s) to be cancelled?

Okay, judging by current ratings, and patterns of seasons past.....what do you think will be the first show, or shows to be cancelled?

I know everyone says Dr Vegas is a turkey.

Father Of The Pride or The Next Great Champ are two of the banner underperformers so far.

There's your answer, depending on what your definition of cancelled is.

I thought Lost was the best series premiere for ABC in nearly ten years. But it cost a tremendous amount. Whether the floundering network can afford such an extravagent show is questionable.

My money's on Father of the Pride or Listen Up. I've already deleted them from my viewing schedule.

Hasn't the Method & Red Show already earned the title of first show canceled? Pretty sure at this point it's been declared completely dead...

I think he was referring the the Disney execs that were mad when the show got made, because they didn't like it and it cost a lot. Obviously now it isn't going to be cancelled.

Tru Calling is the first show to be cancelled.

It was supposed to return on Nov 11, but after completing six episodes they decided to just can it and those episodes will probably never air. Unless they burn them off next summer.

The Next Great Champ is as close to being cancelled as it's going to get. While watching the Twins beat up on the Yankees tonight on Fox, I heard it announced that the Chump series has been moved to Fox Sports Net stations. That is virtually the same as being cancelled.

You forgot Family Matters, although I don't think you're correct in saying a new show will succeed because it's a spinoff.

What was Family Matters a spin off of? Step by Step or whatever that show with Patrick Duffy was?

Perfect Strangers. The mom played the elevator operator where Larry and Balki worked at the newspaper or something like that.

JOANIE LOVES CHACHI
FLO
THE TORTELLIS
THE ROPERS

p.s. I had to do it...did not know when I would get the legitimate excuse to use the words 'joanie loves chachi' ever again.
