Anyone in Everquest 2 Beta?

I haven't played Everquest in like 2 years and wondering if I would get back into it from the beginning again with Everquest 2. Anyone here in the beta and how does it compare to the original especially the original before any expansions came out? (or maybe RoK since I played through that one and did everything except VP)

Even if someone was in it they can't comment on it. SOE has an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with all the beta testers. Until that's lifted they have to keep hush-hush.

I think they mostly picked current suscribers. I looked at my former guild and a lot of them are in the beta although they only gave their name to meet up. I have yet to see 1 non-suscriber in beta
