Silly Burrito

I know Tiger Woods doesn't really have a great online tournament mode for personalized tournaments, but we can create our own. I'd like to know if we could get either 3 or 7 people who would like to play in the DVDtalk classic!

It would work like this: eight people sign up, we pick a common course for each of the quarterfinals, semifinals, and then the big enchilada!

Results reporting would be done here, and obviously on the honor system.

I'm thinking we play normal golf so that the scores can be posted (for bragging rights of course ) but only the winner of the individual match would advance. Custom players are ok, and it'll be a league vote if Tigervision is allowed or not.

What do you say, anyone interested?

Ok, that's at least four. We can try setting up a mini tournament now to see how it'll work. If more people are interested, just leave a post, and we'll work on a second tournament (to which the original posters will also be invited).

I'll get working on this tonight and let you know what we come up with. Bigdogkt2003, gr8fuldave, and oppie1, for this mini tournament, do you want Tigervision on or off?

OK, this is what we'll do for the first tournament. I chose opponents randomly using Excel, and this is what it looks like:

Once the matches are over, can you post on the board both scores and who won so we know who makes the finals?

I REALLY want to play this online. My friend, who I planned on playing with most of the time, has the worst internet connection at any college....EVER!

I normally stay up way late and play at odd times but would enjoy a friendly game. I'm tired of his connection screwing up me games and rank. The tag is MasterofDVD.
