Mt St Helens Documentaries?
With the southen part of the state exploding and the end of the world upon us, I started thinking of all the great news footage from the May 18th eruption 25 years ago.
The best image - the cameraman who was on the mountain when it blew, and him running along in complete darkness. All you can hear is his heavy breathing, gasping for air - it was some pretty heavy duty footage. (Even more amazing - he lived!)
I picked up a disc when I was at the mountain a couple of years ago, and although it was cool, it was too short. I was hoping for something National Geographic length and quality or something.
So - does anyone know if there's a good May 18th documentarries (other than that Art Carney "dramatization" from 81).

Dante's Peak....just kidding
I remember that footage where the cameraman ran for his life in total darkess, all he saw was a small glimpse of light near the horizon.
Just did a search and this one came up. Not sure if there are more...
