I have done a search in the forum for something along these lines.
I would like 6.1 if possible.
Anything you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance.

This panasonic has gotten a ton of good reviews. It is an all digital design which many have said rivals some of the most expensive amp's. It does 6.1 also.
With about 50 bucks more you can look at the following:
Onkyo TX-SR502
Yamaha HTR5740
Pioneer VSXD814K

Try to get a Panasonic SA XR25. I got one off ebay for $167 it has better sound than anything at least till $500-700 range. It's 6.1 with componant switching (2-1) 100watts/ch at 6ohm (estimates put it around 82watts at 8ohm). It's a true digital amp as was mentioned above, so if you if you feed a digital source it stays digital until it hits the speaker wire, less noise and a pure noise. Only downside is if your speakers are "bright" (a little heavy on the high end) the amp will magnify that tendacy. Other 6.1 models in the same series are the XR45 and the XR50. Can't recommend them enough.
