Can you make your own audio commentary

I was just wondering if it is possible to add your own audio commentary to a DVD.

The reason i want to do this is to add my own audio commentary to a wedding of a relative.

i thought it would be cool if we could, via the computer.

if do have the files to burn the video on to a DVD-R, now i just want to know if there is a way to put some audio of my own in there
