The Batman 9/25
Traction
An ok introduction to Bane. Handled much better than Schumacher's Batman & Robin movie and with a story sorta close to the comic book.
In the flashback with Alfred picking Bruce up, was that Jim Gordon? The bat-bot was cool, reminded me of how Bats suited up against Superman in Dark Knight Returns. Eventhough is took a theme from Azrael's suit too.
The episode went a little fast for a storyline that took Bats out of action for a good length of time in the comic.
Good call! Det. Bennett makes a comment that they're on the corner of Rogers & Englehart in the episode.

The show reminds me of the work ENGLEHART & ROGERS did on Batman in the late 70's early 80's. The villians were more deadly and the art work shows a little of Roger's in it.

I only caught a little of this today but, did they change Bane's character because of how he got his strength. having a guy who gets his strength from drugs doesn't seem like it fits well on the WB.
thought it was pretty cool regardless. looking forward to watching more of this show.

Wow, I thought this was by far the best episode yet.
I knew I recognized the voice actor who portrayed him, but couldn't put a face to it. It was Joaquin de Almedia.
Awesome choice.

I wasn't that impressed. I thought they flew through this character way too fast. It would have been cool to introduce him after about 12 villians had been imprisoned in Arkham. Then have him break them out, wait til they beat on The Batman, then break him. You know, like the comics.
And yeah, nearly every bone was broken in his body, but he was able to get right back out there? This was supposed to be a moment of real soul searching for him.
I guess if I didn't own this particular run of the comics, I probably would have liked this episode much better.
Joaquin de Almeida - The voice sounded so familiar to me too. But I have no idea who that is. I looked through IMDB, and didn't really see anything that rang a bell.

I know The Edge did the theme song, do you think that's him that says "The Batman" at the end of the song?
Wow, I just checked out some of the upcoming voice talent. Spoilers - in case you don't want to know which characters are going to be on the show:
