This will easily be moved, but I wanted to put this in the Bargains post because SEVERAL times I have clicked on one of the top messages expecting to get a great deal, and after I sign up for something or check it out, I find out the deal is over a year old and someone just decided to post there. I know I might be flamed or something, but isn't there some way that we can try to keep the front page specifically for new topics? Sorry for the complaint... and now I just get to wait for the flames!

No, what probably need to be shown is the "life span" of a thread - either date started -or- days since start. Just a little more info so you know how "new" a topic is.

That is a good idea. Having a "date started" column would work great.

A date started column would be a nice addition. Until then, you can easily check the date a thread started on by going to the thread and looking at the date the first post was added. It might not be as simple as a column with all of the start dates, but it works.

Or people could just put the dates in the threads like some people do in the Hot Deals forum.

Man, the way you set this up, I almost feel like I'm required to flame you.

Is it to hard to read the thread before jumping up for joy at a decent bargin or free item? you can see the last post why it was bump.
