ok.. so i noticed that my dvdtalk newsletters are going directly to my spam folder in gmail now

I know it hasnt always been that way.. because i had a filter setup and they use to go to the inbox and then directly to a dvdtalk folder (label).. but lately,, they seem to be going to the spam folder.

not sure if its something in the structure of the email that sets off the trigger.. or if its actually the email address.

Geoff.. if you want to send a test email from the newsletter address to twikoff@gmail.com with nothing special in the body of the message.. We can see if its the address thats being caught.

I would assume that if its the address there would be a way to contact google and ask them to stop filtering this!

ok.. to add to that.....

Cinemazing was caught by the gmail spam filter

DVD Savant was not.. it went directly to my inbox, and then filtered to my dvdtalk folder..

since they both came from the same address.. i assume it has to do with something in the structure of the emails.

I've emailed gmail/google several times, they say 'it's still in beta so they're still working on their spam filter'
