Luke in Empire (Spoiler)

I am sooo happy I just finished Empire and they took out that dumb scream Luke makes when he falls. I always hated that. BTW I am not sure but did they change Boba fetts voice ?

Yes, they replaced it with new dialog from Temura Morrison (Jango). Makes since as Boba is his clone and should sould identical.

Too bad Morrison phoned in the performance though...

They should have dubbed Temura Morrison's (Jango) voice with Jeremy Bulloch's voice in Episode II.

Have you HEARD Jeremy Bulloch's voice before? I met the man. Not quite Ray Park bad, but he doesn't sound menacing at all. I'd equate him with Eric Idle from Monty Python.

Fett's original lines sounded a hell of a lot cooler than they do now with Morrison.

Morrison and Jango Fett were some of the best things about AOTC, so I like this bit of continuity as well.

It's still Bulloch in the suit, so his fans don't really need to be that upset.

Morrison sounds like he is doing a bad William Shatner impression....

What if he
doesn't...
survive..
he's worth a
lot to
ME!

I understand the continuity crap...I just think Bullock's performance was much better...

If it's all about continuity, then why didn't they dub all the stormtroopers with his voice as well. They are Jango's clones too.

Not necessarily, a lot of the storm troopers are probably just regular people that went through the academy after the empire was established.

Hell, maybe all the clone troopers are dead by EP IV and there are no more, guess will no more after Episode 3.

Bulloch just wore the suit (and not even in every scene... a different actor is used for the "He's no good to me dead" scene.)

The voice is Jason Wingreen.

My problem isn't the voice...it is the performance. Morrisonjust doesn't sound nasty like the original actor...

What about the effect of 20 years of growing up on different planets than Jango? I know he's a clone, but his accent could change tremendously in the time from Ep II to Ep V. Wingreen's dialogue was much much better.

BTW, they didn't re-dub the scream as he's falling into Sarlac. I guess it doesn't matter who you are a clone of, when you are about to be digested.

Jeremy Bulloch did not do the voice of Boba Fett!

As for Morrison, he rules. Jango is much more badass than Boba ever was. Boba never did any damn thing, and was only in the films for 5 minutes at best. He was a plot device, and nothing more. For some reason fans latched onto him because he looked cool.

That's not saying much, considering Jango got his butt whooped in Clones

Which is precisely why he became such a popular character. It's called mystery. Hypothesizing about the history of the character was infinitely more satisfying then eventually seeing it. If anything Jango was much more of a plot device than Boba was. Boba captured Solo and set things in motion that would eventually lead to Luke seeking out Vader and learning the awful truth. WHat did Jango do? He just lead Obi-Wan to Geonosis. A wasted opportunity imo.
