Videogaming 20 Years ago and 20 Years in the Future

20 years ago there were games like Galaga, Karate champ, Commando etc.

Now looking at how videogaming as progressed in the last 20 years, how do you think they will progess in the next 20 ?

Now size of the hardware has got smaller, graphics are of course heaps better, games are more complicated but the bottom line is it is still images on a television set being controlled with a plastic controller.

Surely in the next 20-30 years the next step must be taken

Fully immersive videogaming with advanced control systems

I agree with Trigger. I think with technology advancing the way it is, we'll soon be able to have game consoles that tentacle rape us in the anus. I know Japan has been working for a long time with this concept, but so far we've only had tentacle rape-less disappointments like the PS2 and Gamecube.
