King of the hill season 3 12/28

taken from http://tvshowsondvd.com

King of the Hill - Season 3 was originally foretold to be out in "Spring, 2004" according to the insert card that came with the 2nd Season release on DVD. That didn't happen, of course, and so it was with a great deal of pleasure in early July we brought you word that the box set would still arrive before the end of the year.

JUST before the end of the year, it turns out, as Fox has now announced a December 28 street date for this long-awaited release. Details aren't as fully fleshed-out yet as they were for other Fox TV-DVD announcements in the past couple of days, but we can tell you the specs:

Video: 1.33:1 Fullscreen
English Dolby Surround, Spanish Dolby Surround
Subtitled: English, Spanish
RUNNING TIME: 600

List price will be $39.98 in the USA, while Canadians will pay based on a CA$54.98 SRP. Stay tuned for cover art, plus any further details about the contents we can bring you.

I heard Season Three was held up because of music clearance issues. I hope they speed up the release of the remaining seasons.

This is actually at least the third thread where the date has been given (sorry if I have to make the "Searcholio" joke as well).

The marathon is cool, but it's basically just first season episodes, starting with the Pilot. I'll just watch my Season One DVDs. I really wish they would do a Season Four marathon. That season actually has episodes I've seen less than five times each.

It's a damn shame people tend to write off KOTH as some sort of redneck show when it has actually introduced some of the best characters on network TV for years.

yeah alot of koth fans dont like beavis and butthead but there are alot of similarities. hank hill is a younger tom anderson and if you put hank and cotton together you would get tom. stuart dooley is basically butthead without the laugh. there is tons of beavis and butthead style humor with side characters in king of the hill same on office space which mike judge is known for, example layaway ray telling hank he should call first and burning his shop down, and bobbys music teacher saying acting out, the guy who owns the guitar shop saying he has tons of jokes about women and guitars and he only has 2. the character Randy and his dad and basically the kid from beavis and butthead who was in the positive acting teens and his dad. theres alot of similarities.

there very similar when you think about it. less potty mouth though cause theres less childish stupidity.
