Sony HT-DDW750 System DTS help

I there, i have the Sony HT-DDW750 System. I'm pretty sure i have all the setup done correctly. I have an optical wire, going from my JVC DVD player to the receiver.

When i select to use DTS on a movie, for example, Man on Fire, the DTS symbol does not light up on the receiver, like the manual says it should. Everything else is lit up, like Surround L and R, SW, C, L, R, and Dolby II lights up as well.

Am i doing something wrong? Is the DTS not set up properly? Sounds like it, but im just a bit paranoid, that it might not be.

are you selecting DTS on the dvd,or just the reciever?

if not go into Audio on the disk, then choose DTS.
