Anyone Have Their Amazon STAR WARS shipped yet?

Ordered mine on April 1st, and my order hasn't even gone into the "preparing for shipping" process yet. Wondering if it's just me...

I know Amazon doesn't usually ship until the day before or the day of street date...but my experience has been that orders are "prepared for shipping" (meaning you can't go in and change your order) a good three to four days before shipment.

Someone on Theforce.net message board said that theirs shipped yesterday from Amazon...but Mine I pre-ordered considerably late (August 13th) and the estimated shipping is Sept. 28th (even though it usually ships out earlier before estimated) and my order still doesn't show shipping soon or anything yet either.

Thanks to this thread I checked my status and the order was cancelled!! Apparently my CC didn't go through, but the thing was I didn't need a CC on the order thanks to GCs. So I called and the dude let me reorder, bumped me to 2 day shipping and instead of being slated to ship on the 28th, it's now shipping on the 20th via Fedex :)

I ordered back in March and my Star Wars set shipped out on Thursday from Amazon.com. That might have to do with my location though. When I lived in VA it would ship out day before or day of release date. Now that I live in Hawaii it ships out a couple days before to make up for the distance I guess.

My credit card messed up at 6:02 am this morning, I guess they tried to charge andship it, but I fixed everything so we'll see what happens now, doubt they'll provess it today anymore.

On a side note, they appear to have gotten the STL glitch fixed. The amount shown as the shipped total is exactly what it was supposed to be.

While I don't regret preordering from them, I'm not exactly impressed either. You'd think with something this popular and high profile they might make a point of trying to impress us. If they did get it to me on release day you can bet I'd preorder stuff from them all the time. As it stands, I'll only do it again if I'm feeling too lazy to hit a B&M.

Mine made it to my local hub last night and as of this morning, was out for delivery to my place - meaning I'll get it on release date, which is more than I could have asked for, since I wasn't expecting to see it before Thursday.

I received my "Your Item has shipped" email from Amazon this morning, however when I checked out the UPS trace it appears UPS picked it up from the Amazon warehouse Sunday night. on the down side it looks like it's now sitting in a UPS warehouse in PA. My guess is I won't receive it until thursday or friday.

Just a guess but it seems that Amazon may have "hidden" the true shipping status on these sets to avoid any pre release issues. Mine showed "Shipping Soon" until this morning and now it shows picked up on Sunday and should be here today or tommorrow. Normally I get the "shipped" message before USPS even has the package.

It shipped yesterday, UPS Ground from Delaware, and arrived just 1 day later here in Virginia, right on release day. This is the free shipping. Yay for Amazon not waiting a week to ship like their "estimate" told me on my order status page.

Well, Amazon and UPS offcially rock! My package left Sparks, Nevada last night around 11:30 and reached me in Oakland around 11:30 this morning. This is with free shipping, mind you.

As much as I would have been fine getting the set in a day or two, I had been kinda disappointed by the original early next week delivery estimate. How nice to see that they were only being conservative.

Me too! The tracking on mine is weird. It looks like it was just billed. Not actually shipped.

email amazon and have them start a tracer on it if it says the same thing tomorrow, ups may have misplaced it or it is still at amazon. Billing Information Received means that they have a call in for the package to be picked up from shipper. Goodluck

Man this sucks. I ordered mine on the 6th w/ the free shipping. It said then it would ship on the 27th and be delivered between the 29-30. Well it shipped on Mon, but it's still saying that delivery estimate as the 29-30. What makes matters worse is that my package got to Greensboro, NC yesterday at 11 am and still has not been sent to me in Winston-Salem (only about 30 or so miles away). Are they just planning on keeping it there till next week or what? Usually the free shipping from them has only taken a couple of days and the 5-9 day estimate has been way conservative. Dammit, I want my DVDs.
