Ugh, too many featured artists. And did we really need a sequel to Soldier? (worst song on Eminem Show imo)

I thought I heard it was a double album, but that was awhile ago.

Agree about both. EVERY hip-hop release nowadays seems to be chock full of guest artists. That's why Murs's last album was so refreshing: one MC (Murs) and one producer (9th Wonder). It's very cohesive.

I'm sure there will be some 'skits' in there, which I despise (Paul Rosenberg shit or something).

Can't complain here. If you think about it this is only maybe two more tracks with features artist than the last two albums each had. Agree on this skits though... Some artists I don't mind a skit or two from but I don't like any from Eminem's albums.

I liked Soldier but I could do without a sequel.

Actually, Phonte from Little Brother appeared on the last track of the album (can't think of the name at the moment.)

Still, one of the best albums this year, 9th Wonder really surprised me.

Except that it was too short! Hehehe, yeah I love that album.

Oh and to anyone else that liked this album, you must, YOU MUST check out Foreign Exchange. It's like water baby.

Oh and yeah, way too many guest mcs on this one, seems more like a mixtape concept album or something.

Well, as I suspected ElementZ, we have been taken by a phoney track list considering the first single (find it here ) isn't even on the list. I could care less about what the songs are called though.

And by the way, that single is horrible. I really hope the rest of the album isn't that bad. Of couse on most of his albums the first single is nothing like just about every other track.

I never like his single that much. It is always enough to get my psyched for his new album but I find I get sick of the single pretty quick.

This single is horrible. Usually he comes out with the novelty single and they work... but this is just SHIT... I'm still buying the album on NOv. 16, but dear god, I hope it's better than this POS.

From HipHopSite.com's 4th Quarter Countdown (in the News on the DL section):

Em has one political track on the album, and the rest promises to be the usual darker, less comical variety that we've seen on the last few LP's...Rumors also suggest that the album will ship with a bonus CD of the tracks that were leaked on the internet late last year.
So far I'm underwhelmed by the single. Maybe it'll grow on me. The above preview says that the video's supposed to be great, though.

Just listened to the single...it is kinda of disappointing. It's no "Without Me." But I still can't wait for the album.

I think it's lame that he does the whole "Guess who's back, back again, Shady's back, tell a friend" thing exactly the same as the lead-off single on his last album.

The single is horrible. I don't know...I'm just not really feeling Eminem anymore. I used to be like the earlier poster who said there were too many guest artists, but the guests and the Dre beats are the only reason that I'm going to check for this album.

I don't much care for the single either.
