Just wondering if there were any CD Worlds left in NJ. Most of them had a good selection, and a huge used section. I'm mainly curious about the one in Totowa. That one still there? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

The one Rte 22 in Springfield/Union (center island ) is still there and still does the Saturday 20% discount on used CDs for club members. In fact just bought quite a few CDs for the wife and kids last week.

they are all owned by transworld now....
meaning...what you can get at FYE or Coconuts you can get at CD World...

Yes but will Coconuts or FYE honor the CD World Club member card good for 20% off used CDs and 15% on DVDs?

Of course, since they are owned by Trans World now, the selection has been seriously lacking. The Eatontown store is still there. That's it, just those three out of what was ten at one time.

The last time I went to them was January 2003 when I went to all ten CD Worlds and purchased all of their Mickey Mouse in Living Color tins for $30 each. I wound up with 32 copies which have sold for between $80 and $100 each.
