I think this is the right time to post this since it's the week before the US release. I would like to start a list of the places around that will be having a sneak preview of Shaun Of The Dead anytime in the next week (starting tonight).....

yea these early screenings are just for tonight (September 17th), then the movie officially comes out the 24th.

I bought a ticket to see it tonight at 10pm (only one showing) in San Rafael, CA. Hopefully a lot of people will come out for this.

Just got back from the screening in Kansas City. I've seen the movie before, but it's even better with a packed theater. Everyone loved it. Great fucking movie!

first time seeing the movie. great movie, had a lot of fun watching it. turnout was really good at the San Rafael, CA showing. lots of laughs, clapping, and so on. definately will pick this up on DVD sometime.

I've seen it like 4 or 5 times already but watching it in a theater with a packed crowd half dressed as zombies was great.

Edgar wright did a Q&A afterwards:

Mainpoints: There will be no Dawn of the Shaun or Shaun sequels. There is going to be a sort of viewaskew like universe going on where he focus on another character in the same little space he created, but no direct sequel.

Main references in the film are to the romero classics, 28 days later at the end with the news report about a monkey starting the spreading and Evil Dead as Shaun mentions ASH out sick from work.

r2 dvd and bootleg before it. didn't mean it as a brag, but the films been floating around for a while and wanted to point out that even in a theater it's a different feel. especially when the director introduces it himself
